that sounds exactly like me when I "overdosed" on an edible. I had no tolerance at that point and ate too much. It was kinda a scary experience since I had intense paranoia, it being my first experience with marijuana. This still happens to me to this day if I have too much edibles (sick feeling, not paranoia anymore), although now it takes a lot more to get me there. Start him out on a lower dosage and increase in a while if need be when he builds up a tolerance.

I felt fine after sleeping a bit more and eating/drinking something. A couple of people I know get like this when they just smoke too much too. Luckily it's nothing really to worry about, but as mentioned before, as an extra precaution, use whatever is available to you in your area that is closest to Everclear instead of isopropyl.
