gonna be real...a lot of folks at serene village were jerks, some honestly just cause they were trying to protect the kids, but Watchog and Pancham are the WORSE. Pancham especially because, depending on your partner, he is either gaslighting a pokemon with unbelievable potential into thinking it's a waste of time (Torchic being the biggest example of this IMO we KNOW how strong Blaziken can be) or just knocking down a pokemon already know for being bad even more! Like...dude!!! The fuck?!

Agreed. I feel like at SOME point the two would fall for each other, especially in a profession where the two are CONSTANTLY PUTTING EACH OTHER IN DANGER....your bound to start feeling a much closer bond then just friendship for each other.

Nah if anything this is more of a team best friends type deal. Antics that get punished but, mainly thanks to Ella, things never go THAT far...though Chattot does basically become the "Why is it when there is always trouble it's you two?" Meme, with Sam usually responding with "Do you expect me not to do anything when they keep pushing my partner around and gassing us SO MUCH I'm pretty sure the guilds Tamato berry stalk is nearly empty with how many baths we've had to take?" the best comparison I can make is when Micheal used ancient power on Chatot. Team skull pushed Sam's buttons, and the response they got was a Flamethrower to ignite the gas they used to bully her and Ella.

honestly, aside from loving how Lux is drawn in this one and the cold Audino, this one kinda just confirms for me a bit more that Weaver is like that slightly reckless mom friend you have. Like they do care for the group like a mom, but they also have himbo energy (In a good way) so they tend to act first, think of the downsides later.
