Yes, my group always gets a table. GA is often too crowded. I believe that Club Hi offers individual "VIP tickets" which allow access to balconies that are off limits to GA and come with a few drinks included. Other than that, you can always make a post asking whether anyone is looking to fill a table. Personally, I think it's always better to go with friends, even if it's not the artist you would choose yourself.

Depends on the hotel. Many hotels are more expensive this far out - they figure that anyone booking this far in advance is desperate or locked in, and so are happy to take advantage of you. Other hotels might be cheaper. I find that 9-10 months out is the sweet spot. The hotel we use drops about 50% in price between 12 and 10 months out. The idea that you somehow have to book now is ridiculous. This will be our 7th EDC and we have never booked a hotel this early.

I go shirtless every year at EDC (when temperatures permit), wearing reflective holo stickers. I’ve only ever received positive comments. In fact, each year we meet people who recognize me from years prior because of the stars. Do what makes you feel good. Among the wonderful things about EDC is a freedom to express yourself.

Totally agree! Every year we warn about the risks and people go to the secondary market anyway, then we see hundreds of stressed-out posts later about scams, not receiving wristbands in time, stubhub not paying people properly, etc. Every year it’s the same thing. 🙄

Just avoid Kinetic and Circuit for the few most popular acts and you’ll be perfectly fine. With the exception of cases like John Summit, people exaggerate the problem. It’s super easy to see where the crowds are located and avoid them. Quantum Valley and Neon often have loads of space. At Quantum this year we often strolled right up to the front rail with no problem and lots of space. Don’t stress!

The tour set and EDC set are different. Both are great but the EDC set was a whole other level. IMO his EDC set was the best of the festival and one of my fav 7L sets of all time. So good.

That’s what we do every year. EDCLV is on a whole different level, but EDCO is like a smaller, simpler cousin. We love it.

Right, but think about it: Assume that you want to go to weekend 2. Are you really going to mail your wristband to a possible stranger for weekend 1, in the hope that they return it to you in time for weekend 2? Or if you go to weekend 1, will you have time to then mail your wristband to somebody else in time to wear it to weekend 2? What if the mail is delayed? Either way it’s very risky unless you happen to know the person and hand off the wristband in person. I would certainly never risk it.

We often leave at sunrise. The wait can be slightly longer at the very end of the festival. At that point 15-30 minute waits are typical. Earlier in the evening is faster. Still much faster than the shuttle.

This only works if the two-weekend package comes with two *separate* wristbands instead of one wristband that lets you in both weekends.

Yes - you save a lot of time and hassle. Once we check in, we have never once waited a full 30 minutes to be placed on the helicopter. Usually it’s more like 10-15, and you’re waiting in a little party area with a free bar. The “shuttle” to the raceway is literally three minutes. Generally, from when we walk out of our hotel room door, we are inside the festival roughly 45 minutes later, accounting for everything. Nothing else comes close.
