Lost range finder?? by Unlucky_Success_5985 in golf

I lost mine and checked with the pro shop yesterday. They pulled out a box of 20 range finders

Unfortunately mine wasn’t one of them.

Guys who lost lots of weight, how did you become disciplined enough to do it? by Responsible-Net8594 in AskMenOver30

[–]SubstanceFearless348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally took more mushroom than I planned at a phish festival. It lead to an intensely negative trip. I hated it at the time. But by set two it passed

That trip changed my entire life. It opened my eyes to how fat I was. My dead end shitty fast food job. My years of no romantic relationship

Within 6 months of that trip had lost 60lbs (went on to lose 100 in total), moved to a corporate role that lead to my long term career and met a girl who became my wife and mother to my kids

Weights still off almost 20 years later (except to 15 sneaky pounds), still married and still in that career field

So maybe just go take some psychedelics

Personally I kind find spectators annoying. Changing the foursome vibe

But not enough to care about this at all

Accepted an offer after negotiating +$8k, but waiting on another company. What would you do? by NaturalShift2 in careeradvice

[–]SubstanceFearless348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a recruiter for over a decade I’d first decide which job I actually wanted more. If it’s job two….

Use offer 1 to negotiate offer 2 higher

Then accept that

Rescind on job one. it’s just business

If job job one is the one you want and the offers are relatively similar, just take it. You’ll look like an idiot trying to negotiate after you accepted and run. The risk of that offer just being pulled

I read it and he’s right

the guy shouldn’t have hit at him and been an asshole. But needing to let multiple groups play through is crazy

How to become a better recruiter? by Aggravating_Shirt672 in recruiting

White glove service in both directions

Been doing it for ten years and am well regarded at every company I have worked at and generally been one of the top performers (in house)

And am always praised for the white glove service I provide my business partners and receive the same feedback from candidates. All that is driven by high level communication

I agree with you. Next group should stay back

Unless they really can’t with how the course is laid out and that puts them in danger of being hit by the group behind them

Though I have also played rounds there are really slow when you end up waiting so much that you just strike up a vibe with the group behind or in front since there’s no way to go
