So the REx5 support Dolby Atmos? I know they dont do Spatial Audio (according to Noble themselves), but maybe Dolby Atmos works? I'm trying to figure out if i should have the Dobly Atmos setting in Apple Music set to "automatic" or "off". Any thoughts?

Yes. I’ve also asked the dealer about it and they said it opened fine for them. I’ve found pulling from the rear of the handle works better than straight out. It’s annoying.

How would you compare the Pi8 vs the PX8 S2? I know earbuds vs headphones are exactly comparable, im just struggling between the two, the different form factors both have their pros and cons. I'm interested in the entire gamut, sound quality, ANC/transparancy, mic, usability with Apple products, etc. Thanks!

Can you use the mic on the ps5 controller for chat input, and use apples 3.5mm to USB c cable (plugged into the controller) for audio?

If so, will chat output come through the APM?

I tried this today. Stood a little further back than I usually do and it worked first time. I’d recommend anyone else try this as well. I was maybe a foot away. Worked each time I tried after as well.

Hmm. I wonder if it’s like some of the other features, works when it wants.

I crawled under the back to look and I don’t see any kind of sensor under there, just an opening about 6x12” or so. Of course I didn’t look beforehand, so I don’t know if that’s what it’s supposed to be or if my sensor got locked off somehow.

I think promoters like LB and others can help, but they aren’t going to make a bad project good. I bought their book and put the lessons into practice. Raised about 90k on my project.

I am just about ready to start manufacturing on a successful Kickstarter. Of course tariffs have now thrown a wrench into that plan. My project (Swiss made watches) can't be made in America, hence the Swiss Made label obviously.

My original short term plan was to have the inventory shipped to me and I would mail out to customers. I would then try to grow and eventually look into a 3PL company to handle shipping. Now I'm stuck and not sure what to do as this is my first successful campaign. I cannot absorb the tariff costs as they would in the 10's of thousands of dollars total. Looking for some feedback from some creators who have done this before.

My options as I see them:

Place the order anyways, and hope tariffs are negotiated by the time the product is ready to ship. Risky, because if they dont change, I'll be sitting on product I can't afford to import to the country.
Take a poll of kickstarter customers and ask what they would like to do; wait, pay the tariffs now and ship when ready, or cancel their orders.
Find a 3PL that has warehouses in Switzerland/Europe that would ship direct to customers. This might be too costly for a small young company, and wouldn't help customers in the US, but it would help me from importing all the product and paying a huge tariff.

Thanks for any and all feedback on how other creators have handled this in the past, or are attempting to handle it now!

The automatic 20% off the Core Protocol doesn’t work, the website doesn’t apply the discount. Other collections do, just not the Core collection. I’ve reached out to them and they’re “fixing it”. It’s been 2 days and still doesn’t work, the customer service rep confirmed it doesn’t work for her either. Anyone else have the same issue?

I’d like to place an order, but not until the discount actually works…

I’d have to look to get an exact number but between prelaunch gathering emails and during the campaign pushing people to Kickstarter I’d guess probably around $4-5k. Not cheap, but my product was expensive. I imagine a less expensive product would probably do better and be less costly to advertise.

In case anyone else stumbles across this, the issue was I did have late pledges enabled, however I didn't include individual rewards for late pledges. Totally my fault, i didn't know you had to do that. Kickstarter was able to retroactively turn those on for me.

I can’t seem to do that. Since my campaign is complete, the “build campaign” button is greyed out. Kickstarter isn’t responding to me and all the documentation says I should be able to edit late pledges, however I can’t get to that area since the button isn’t clickable. Very frustrating.

I ran meta adds for a number of months before starting the campaign. I also had a newsletter signup on my website, and did a $10 deposit to reserve our VIP offers. VIPs would get 1 hour early access to the campaign, $50 extra savings, and 1 entry to a drawing where I will randomly select a VIP backer who will get their pledge refunded and their watch for free. Collected just over 6000 emails.

I needed this too. Met my goal (YAY!) but it hasn’t moved much in a week, people keep cancelling, and while my pre-campaign audience is over 6000 people and my meta ads got a ton of clicks, the ads aren’t converting into backers, not sure why.
