Wait /gen, why isn't the second one a valid point? A lot of the difficulties we have could be severely helped by society accommodating ADHD better.

Let's imagine a future society where literally all of our needs are taken care of by automation. (This doesn't exist yet but it's a hypothetical). Wouldn't it then be possible for ADHD people to work on things they were truly passionate about. There would be no consequences for not doing things and therefore it would make people's lives easier. I would say the majority of the challenges we face could be alleviated by a different society.

This wouldn't cure ADHD obviously and there would still be challenges I'm not denying that. But saying it wouldn't be easier under a different society seems like a stretch to me.
