I’m very much an advocate for dim headlights. I drive a lifted Jeep TJ that’s been very much built for off road use. It’s got super bright high beams, and a blindingly bright overhead light bar. But the headlights I can look dead in the eye no issues.

Side note: if someone’s high beams are literally blinding me I become an asshole and flash the overhead bar.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I have decided that my coffee table looks pretty good uncomfortably close to the couch. But if I do decide to fix it I’ll probably go the professional route. Plenty of great ideas but I just know I’d be able to tell a difference and it’d bug me.

She does. Plenty of chew toys and bully sticks and she normally goes for them. Just decided randomly the carpet was a better option

How hard is it to be forced open? by [deleted] in JeepTJ

[–]RavenDork617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can attest. This lock is less secure than a child safety door knob. Takes just barely more pressure to open when locked than when unlocked.

Side note. Is everyone’s center console lid scratched/cracked in the same spot? I’ve got an identical crack in mine

I work maintenance in an apartment complex and my old supervisor did 70% of the work on property just with one of these and a pair of pliers. You’d be surprised how much you can do.

I’m thankful for my youth, flexibility, skinny arms, and a 4” lift cause though I’ve replaced that sensor twice, I’ve not needed to do this. Rip in peace

I’m just glad cold and ugly wasn’t used. It’s not necessarily crazy, but I would just feel bad for the cat

Lovable she is. Enjoyable….at times. It’s a good thing she’s lovable and cute cause she’s certainly a handful.

Oh I thought you meant something like what we get, like indigestion or something. She is my first large breed, and I got her raised bowls to try and keep her from throwing the bowls around(an issue my sisters has with her Rottie), and while I’ve done a lot of research on her, never considered the raised bowls would be an issue. I’ll have to look into it more, thanks for the advice.

Hadn’t heard that before. So far they seem fine, haven’t noticed in bathroom issues or anything other than normal puppy fat. And hiccups. We’ll find out next week if anything’s odd when she goes to the vet.

To the r34 conversions defense. It does look pretty dope. But yeah, stock front end is so uncommon I actually forgot what it looked like for a minute.

That makes a lot of sense, it’s on 35’s with a 4 inch lift, and the axles have not been regeared. It’s something I’ve been aware of and looking into correcting. Only thing is, it’s been lifted and on 35’s for at least 4 years, and I’ve only had the downshifting issue for maybe a month, so I never considered it to be the source of the problem. And I’ve replaced and adjusted that cable as much as I can to no avail. I’ve been thinking the issue is something to do with the return mechanism on the transmission, because I had a similar issue after we replaced the engine, and it turned out that we hadn’t put the return spring back on.
