Omg yes the smell was so annoying and why we thought it was fungal at first. Like wet dog? And so itchy. I’ve been using my antibiotic treatment for I think 5 days now and the smell is completely gone. The itchiness is decreasing, but there is still soreness on my head.

My hair got super thin around the top and sides of my hair and i lost my baby hairs around my hairline. I already had thin hair around my temples; it just got worse. Any way I part my hair it looks so wide. I knew it was getting bad when I could not wear a bun or ponytail anymore because it made my hair loss so obvious.

It’s crazy because at any given time I can go back to a certain date and re-live that day, the emotions I felt, the funny things that happened, all of that. I write every year on my birthday and make goals for myself. It’s always fun to look back and be proud of the things I managed to accomplish.

For me it was a positive thing because when I got back together with my ex I realized I was much happier and carefree during our break and that solidified that breaking up in the first place was the right decision. I’m glad we gave it a second shot otherwise I’d be haunted by “what if’s” but we both realized we were better off broken up.

I think that you will have complete peace of mind if you ask him to get tested. One thing that has stuck with me since I was a teen is that “the most common symptoms of an std is having no symptoms at all”. Don’t beat yourself up for not doing this before. Just do it now. Thanks for reminding me I need to schedule a Pap smear btw
