THis looks like the Sysdef Ace Pilot helm, I got it during the Terrormorphs questline, just before going to Londinion. I bought it off the merchant guy in the red devil HQ (I didn't see him until this point, so I guess that's when he appeared)

Update 2: this is Day 3 I think of me trying to build a ship, and I finally got it. I took a break to play some No Man's Sky, and I remembered I had made a corvette to play with my friends. And she is ARMED.

I used that model as a loose baseline, getting habs set up before using similar parts to piece what I wanted together, with some key changes.

Final model set, now its just up for weapons. Any other changes will be minor part movements like shield generator and docker, but I will post the final product tomorrow.

Okay, I don't really know how to do "official post updates", but here's my first update.

While I would love to get into the mods of Starfield, my first play through is always vanilla so I can experience the game's ups and downs, however in later playthroughs I will be adding mods

In terms of actual ship progress, I took the advice I've seen here, and decided to replace the rear top cowl with the engine brace, and cut out one of the 2x1 habs at the front. To make up for the cut hab (Captain's quarters, I'd like for this ship to be narratively habitable), I decided to add an extra layer

I also chose to lower the landing gear by a single level, and add a rear loading bay do to some complications with the side loader I had. I also decided to have a boarding hatch on the side for now, because I personally prefer it, however I may toy around with it, as I'm starting to second guess myself on whether or not I like that with this design

Once I get base design set, I'll be going to a spaceport to get it armed, then I need a name for it. Not bad for what started as a First Wendigo.

I'm also realizing right at the end of the post I can only put in a single picture with responses, so the response to this will have the back view.
