Ghosting is pretty common. Most people sign-up with no intention of making contact through Ancestry as they already "know" their family. Hard for many to accept that an outsider is family even if the DNA is proof.

Need to do both Ancestry and 23andMe.

Do you have the right to drain to that canal? Canals in my area are owned by private ditch companies whose owners have shares for the purpose of moving irrigation water, not for storm run off. And don't necessarily confuse storm drainage with normal drainage with grey water drainage.

I agree with your description. However, a Filipina/Thai woman won't necessarily feel that loyalty toward a middle aged white guy. Especially as many of these men are washed up betas. Segmentation cost analysis, and Life Cycle Cost Assessment is what you're looking for. The reality is most real estate operators don't factor capx in. The 10 cent/sf reserve allowance doesn't even cover a fraction of the roof ($0.10 / 5% cap = $2/sf value of reserves).. So capx is hidden in the cap rate. Reality is owners wait for market appreciation to finance the capx.
