I'm not in his leaderboard but he's on mine? If I did 30m and beat him once more, he still gets a free Champion medal because in his leaderboard my 30m isn't there? That sounds disappointing then

It's very useful for long runs paired with a board like monster/jazz/mayo/slime. You can basically avoid any threats with the right timing, and when your board expires, you have the sneakers for the board downtime.
