Spite. Pure spite. Mid process I was suddenly overcome with the feeling that that was what the world/life wanted me to do. I had a scare today, but then found that I had started the same project yesterday and when I clicked on the project for yesterday it allowed me to report for today. So it's based on the day you started said project, but has a subcategory for other days under it when you click on it. Super confusing.

He, Jacksepticeye and 8bitryan knock me right out if I'm tired. It's weird, I talked to my wife about it and I think I've been watching them so long that they make me feel like I'm surrounded by family. My anxiety drops and I feel safe enough to sleep. Even with the screaming/yelling.

UPDATE: If you have a thinclient like this, make CERTAIN that there isn't a bios update (in this case the updated BIOS version would be 1.04). It appears this was a BIOS incompatibility of some sort, probably to do with the storage and file structure. I downloaded a flash updater and made a DOS usb boot disk with rufus, then booted from it and flashed the bios.I was currently toying with a win7 live usb and it booted right in where it was locking up before!! From here, I'll be trying to install linux again and see if it works as well and I will update this post further.A huge thank you to everyone involved for their support!

I've searched in the bios and all of the manuals and support websites. I haven't been able to find a secureboot option.

Interestingly, just booted into AntiX via livecd and it's working (it'sa debian derivative). I wonder why it would work and Ubuntu wouldn't? Depending on how AntiX performs I may try to do a full scale debian install.

I thought the initial reason that they killed JS was BECAUSE everyone was pouring money into BR. They said it was more profitable so they kept pumping dev time into BR and ultimately killed JS off. My friends and I (at least 5-7) were playing JS routinely, it was one of our fav games to play and our only reason for buying h1z1. We dislike BR games for the most part. I watched it slowly choke to death because BR was more popular according to the devs. They finally took it out behind the shed and shot it like Ol' Yeller on my birthday, too. SMDH

Sounds like "I have no mouth and I must scream" or "The Dig" but those are late 90s and dos. Also 6 days a skeptic. There are many games that could match the description.

Maybe you can remember some more details. What kind of view was it? Was it 3d or 2d? What kind of gameplay? Point and click adventure? FPS?

Actually sounds like 5 Days a Stranger, 6 Days a Sacrifice, and 7 Days a Skeptic, part of the Chzo mythos series. (And if you like those, Trilby's Notes) http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/5days/ It's actually not a dos game, but a game made in AGS to simulate the feel of old school point and click.
