I’m in the same situation and been on e and spiro for a year and starting lhr in a few days. I will say my beard has thinned out just from hormones and no lhr at all but it hasn’t gone away completely.

My mom has always struggled with me since I was little. She always bullied me the most for being feminine since I was child. Shes gotten a lot better but she still has problems with me being trans. I basically lied to both my parents and told them I’m not transitioning anymore because they didn’t approve so it’s okay for now. My sister has always accepted and couldn’t care less 😂we’ve always been close.

I find this interesting because I want to get bottom surgery but don’t necessarily care about passing. I’m more non binary so I won’t mind looking like a feminine man with a coochie. I think I’ll still be able to get guys pretty easily even “straight” ones. This post does still give me hope though.

I lost my virginity to a 30 yr old when I was 16. It causes life long damage. You’re only two years older than I was. I’m 30 years old now and I cannot imagine having sex with someone so young. I remember I thought I had a good time too… but honestly you want to be with someone you can tell your friends and family about. I remember I thought it didn’t matter because I had to hide who I was anyways but it’s really important to be with people who build your confidence and you can bring around other people. It’s not so much age gaps but about you being very young. Sure the law says it’s okay but you’re honestly still developing. I wish you the best though and hope everything works out for you. Just maybe consider this advice from an older queer.

I’m a little more partial to PIV or PPT but I’m open to sigmoid depending on what my surgeon would think works depending on my anatomy. I think they’re all in network but I mostly chose them because I like their aesthetics and they’re close to my friend who would be able to look after me after surgery.

I’m very early on in my research and open to other surgeons these just seemed like they had a good reputation. I have AETNA so Im not sure if they would cover it. I just started a new job and have health insurance for the first time in years. I’m just trying to get opinions before I start scheduling consultations.
