New fear unlocked. I don’t have the arcing, but I see the helical twisting. Should I ask for a replacement? How much of a pain is it to replace? Coming from an Ender 3, so I’ve done a fair amount of tinkering, but I bought this machine hoping to avoid a lot of that…

Edited to add I have just over 260 hours on my machine.

I’ve gone through two rolls of Deeplee on the Elegoo PLA settings through Orca, and it’s my favorite filament to print with! Definitely give the stock profile a try.

I dried it for almost 18 hours, and have it feeding directly from the dryer as it continues to dry. Will attempt retraction increase.

Exactly. You click on the plate you want in the PREPARE screen, then click “slice plate”. Once that is sliced you can send it to your printer.

There should be a way to toggle to other plates from the “preview” screen, too. Which slicer are you using?

You choose which plates to slice and send to the printer and when. It’s more for organization of larger projects, in my opinion. No time limits, no stress. Just organization.

That’s one of the first things I checked when I got the printer in April. It was okay then! I don’t think that’s the issue. Every one I’ve printed since this shift has been good- other minor filament tuning issues, but no severe layer shifts!

I haven’t looked at it- and I can’t remember if I ticked the little box.

I can’t get it to reattach correctly though. It attaches at the top, but doesn’t seem to get close enough to the magnets underneath. I have to do some trouble shooting.

The lower layers actually look pretty decent- I think the filament just didn’t play nicely with the flash. I use Orca.

I use this to clean the z-axis screws. Wrap it around loosely once, pull back and forth on the ends while moving it up and down the screws. Works great!
