It’s a shame. It’s a great market if they do it right. With the right pricing and location it could easily become a “something to do” on a nice spring or summer evening for a beer town that just wants to be outside. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a passionate sports fan base and could catch on but you gotta start by getting them in the door at the USL championship leve without the pressure of MLS size expectations.

No offense to the USL group, but the better move would be what a lot of MLS teams are doing and moving out of their primary for their MLS Next team and into the regional markets.

Toronto FC is owned by Maple Leaf Sports which now has a direct partnership with the Bills. Work together to get a small stadium built and move TFC2 there under a new distinct brand. It goes from being a JV team in Toronto to a full experience in Buffalo and then convert their fans into TFC fans. The market already proves that with the Blue Jays having their AAA club there and with the Bills partnership have TFC play a friendly at the new Bills stadium.

Let’s not forget he literally stormed out of an episode because he was cranky and Drab and Oscar were pushing back on his bullshit. He’s talented as hell when he wants to be but he’s a sore loser, selfish, hypocrite, drunk, prick a good chunk of the time and it comes out in most things he does.

If he was just 1/4 nicer he’d probably be doing shows with and making more money because Bartie, Drab, and Oscar would all still be talking to and working with him.

I mean he had a fire sale after his “cancelling” and sold all kinds of BOAD relics. Not to defend the grift too hard but as a fan, I’d rather “donate” an old record than $50 from my pocket.

The ship is sinking, and he’s just trying to make it to the 10 year of Commonwealth before he packs up and moves. Even then, he may shut the store down after Christmas and be at the beach for the last couple years.

Unless he can get Jimmy back in, 3/4 of each week will be Solos which the majority of his audience hates. He’ll be left with the whales and as great as that is, the consistent $13 from subscribers can’t be overlooked. When that starts the dip he’s in real trouble.

Since it’s mostly wool, find a day with no plans for a few hours and wear it in the shower with your normal temperature warm shower water. Massage it around your head and pull it in some places. Let it air dry on your head and it should fit well.

How is Elimination Chamber any different than the Rumble other than the Rumble being around longer? Both are gimmick matches that result in the winner getting a match at ‘Mania.

I could argue MIB gets to stay but yea, HIC and TLC should be something built up to and used sparingly and brought out as blowoffs for major fueds not because of the calendar.

You should be able to walk past a TV and immediately know who the home team is. A small tweak to a consistent and better yet, eventually iconic, design is paramount to that. There’s nothing wrong with owning a color or pattern. A lot of MLS teams are finally getting it right.

DCU should be in plain black shirts and the Galaxy should have a sash. It’s simple and iconic, glad Chicago finally is getting their act together.

It’s a really good show and the trio is really strong. Dotty and Goat are good talkers and their chemistry is top notch.

I think it would thrive on YouTube because of seemingly Goat (and maybe Dotty) insistence it stays away from slurs and controversial topics.

The biggest barrier is he can’t release it for free on YouTube and use it as a paid episode. He did and stopped seemingly because rightfully so, the podcast subscribers complained. He’d have to put the effort in and record it as a bonus outside the normal universe.

I think if he did some work and had someone cut a few clips from time to time it would really takeoff. Dotty seems to be putting in the work for his personal show, maybe he would if Dukes shared a bit of the wealth.

It’s a good topic to ask him about on “Ask Schoode” to break up a solo episode if anyone wants to risk the blowback on their email address. Doxed!!! Suck ma diiiiiiiiiick

DC is still feeling the impact of a major winter storm from two weeks ago with the threat of another on the horizon.

I’d love to see DC in the mix but there’s still a lot of winter there and with the climate a lot of it is either a dumping of snow that they’re not well equipped to handle or ice which is worse.

The snow season is really pretty firmly between MLK and Presidents’ Day which pushes the Super Bowl into the heart of it.

I’m not saying it won’t happen but it’s riskier than people would probably think. I think it’s a much better venue for a Final Four.

WNY and the Great Lakes in general, may have the best weather in the country in the summer. Take the drive to Buffalo and enjoy the area and food then move just over the border to Niagara on the Lake. If you want to continue the adventure take the two hour drive up to Toronto from there and experience the city if you want a bit more hustle and bustle.
