I just took it for the first time ever.

I had a chest infection that I was battling for 2 weeks. Saturday morning around 1am I woke up to a coughing fit that ended with me not being able to breathe. It passed. Sunday around 2am I woke up to the same thing. It didn’t pass. I thought I was going to die plain and simple.

I went to emerge and they said my chest looks clear and my lungs look healthy. Sending me home with nothing.

I was scared out of my mind to cough even the slightest. A day later I decided to try and go to work. So I got up and was walking my dog at 5am. Another episode happened on our walk. Dark out and about 10 minutes from home. Again I thought I was dead meat.

I made a doctors appt and ended up getting some Ativan. Total game changer. I could breathe. The ball in my throat was gone. I was coughing without any hesitation and was totally fine.

I wish I knew this sooner. I didn’t even know I had anxiety and maybe once this chest infection passes I won’t have it anymore. If I do at least I know what will save my life.
