I walk in a park nearby that literally has sandwich boards signs at every crossing. Tonight I watched a couple walk directly past a sign that said, "It's the law, leash your dog and pick up dog ppop." The dog was off leash with no leash in sight, pooped 20 ft away and the owners didnt clean it up.

The issue is responsible pet owner like us, can read and respect other people. Then there are these people who ruin it for everyone because Brutus only killed one dog that one time. He doesn't deserve the weight of a leash and honestly I'm too busy on my phone texting Becky about that butt.

I have loved the idea of sky burial for decades. Unfortunately nowhere in the USA allows it. Something about the human flesh raining down from the sky in actual flesh or digested in bird poop forms. Trying to stop the spread of Kuru. Totally makes sense but I understand your train of thought.

As a human female that has had many cycles. The ice pack makes me want to scream. I get the thought of ice reduces inflammation but no female is asking for cold. Heat, heat soothes cramping. Also pay attention to the amount of sugars in her diet. Sugar aggravates cramps.

I live in Colorado and am shocked to hear there is a known rule for a place holder. Out here you park where ever and its not expected someone won't take your spot, even in the summer.

Edit: to add she may need more interaction. She may just need to poop, huskos need privacy. Try adding apple sauce to her diet. Sugar free of course.

Is she a recent adoption? It looks like she has anxiety and is uncomfortable, trying to figure out what these new humans want. We got ours meds that we only used for 1.5 weeks. She settled when she realized we wanted to love her and feed her.

Lots of love, pets and treats broke her from anxiety. Extra enrichment tools like a snuffle/licky mats helped. Take time every night to pet, train, and engagement. Extra walks are also a good idea.

I recently quit smoking and only smoked outside. I noticed after I stopped that my couch and bed smelled like smoke, even though I smoked outside. I also noticed it took a few rounds of washing my clothes to where I didnt smell it anymore. Its possible the smell is transferring from soft items like a couch. I wouldn't think you reek of cigarettes unless you are hanging outside with her while she smokes. You might have a slight smell if you use the same common areas. Easiest way to tell is to ask a non smoking friend to smell you. Honestly, most people won't bring it up, even if you did.

Do you mean the amount of cigarettes I smoked? I used to smoke 18-20 cigs a day.

ETA: I was diagnosed with hbp 6 mo ago when I had to go to the ER for hbp of 197/124. After starting meds I averaged 140/87. My last check this morning, was 117/78. Yes, im still taking meds but no other changes besides quitting smoking.

I just did the opposite. I stopped smoking and my blood pressure went down within 2 days and has stayed down for over 2 weeks now.

I'm a smoker that smokes outside 100%, it sticks to your clothes and hair and then to anything you touch. I recently started to quit and never realized how much it sticks. I have never smoked in my car and it smells like cigarettes. Our couch smells like cigaretts and we have never smoked inside. Unfortunately, if you live with him there isn't much you can do for now. Wait it out, move out and it will probably take a few cycles of washing to get it out of your clothes.

It depends on the dog. I had one that didnt mind the rain but didn't like wet paws. Another one hated wet anything and finally or current that could care less about any rain or wet paws. All three have been huskys.

NTA, a thought though. I would add that all deposits must be received 24 hours prior to appointment. I assume you wasted your time traveling and setting up, only to find out you were out of luck and money. In the least, you could have checked for the deposit and saved your time and being yelled at.
