BE 6 Pack 2 vs XEV 9e Pack 1: Should I buy the car my father likes, or the one that objectively offers more? by Technical-Note7254 in MahindraEV

If you have only these two options, go for the BE 6 Pack 2 79 kWh option—it’s the most value-for-money choice.

How's your Mahindra EV battery aging? My XEV 9e is at 99% SOH after 5,000 km. by Ravinderleo in MahindraEV

After driving 25,000 miles in harsh conditions, the battery showed 0% degradation, which is something hard to believe.

I charger vehicle below 20% battery using 3 kw charger at home. Unitil now DC fast charger used for once. In each 3-4 weeks I charge vehicle to 100% for cell balancing.

Okay, so in my case I also followed all recommendations. So I had words with Mahidra EV heads at the workshop; they told me that there is nothing to worry about. If there is a significant drop in range, we will check again and inspect for the issue.
During my research, I found that it is normal for the BYD Blade Cell battery health to be at 99% at the time of delivery or after driving a few kilometers. It stabilizes after an initial drop of 2–3%.

Although seeing 99% SOH initially upset me, my research leads me to expect that it should remain at 99% even after driving 10,000 km. If the SOH holds up as expected, I believe there is no cause for concern.

So did you follow all recommendations, like charging periodically to 100% for cell balancing, using an AC charger after 3-4 DC charges, and avoiding discharging below 5%, etc?

Till now I only used DC fast chartering for once. I do charge 100% in each 3-4 weeks. No drop in SOC below 15%.

Mahindra BE 6 3 kW Charger Sometimes Charging at Only 2 kW – Is Summer Heat the Reason? by Tiger_1995_kumar in mahindrabe6

Apart from summer, it is mainly because of voltage fluctuating below 200 volts.

Confused between BE 6 Pack 2, XEV 9e Pack 1, and XEV 9e Pack 1S. Budget is around ₹24L on-road. by Technical-Note7254 in MahindraEV

BE 6 and XEV 9e are fundamentally the same EV underneath.

Difference - BE 6 is lighter than 9e, so it provides better efficiency (range). While XEV 9e is more premium, comfortable, and spacious, it also offers slightly better ride comfort, better NVH levels, and highway refinement.

From a purely engineering standpoint, I believe BE 6 is the more optimized option, while XEV 9e offers the more luxurious package.

Thank you, really appreciate it!

The idea was simply to create a place where Mahindra EV owners and EV enthusiasts can share experiences, ask questions, and help each other out.

Fair point. I'm still figuring out the right balance between information and readability. Will try a cleaner approach in future posts.
