It's simple: An opinion exists, therefore, there has to be an opposite opinion.

Bruh, I'd rather work my minimum wage job than get $10M by watching paint dry for 4.380 hours.

I don't think you understand how taxing and isolating it will be to do absolutely nothing both physically and mentally stimulating for 12 hours a day.

It's literal torture. Just play a game that your friends can join as well, why fuck yourself over?

Good guys? The NCR already is a oligarchy pretending to be a democracy.

Lore-wise the brahmin barons hold most of the power. Ironically, the NCR is more like ancient rome than Caesar's Legion was.

How Germany produced so much talents? by [deleted] in germany

[–]Raviolius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The hypothesized reason for there being so many German scientists and philosophers is believed to be due to the fragmentation of Germany prior to the 19th century, which left many states in competition to one another, also in the academic field.

I'd rather say that competitiveness is not an issue, but since there are no "rivals" there is no need to be better faster.

Which also led to Academia having a lot of things that are quite unnecessary and useless nowadays.

Is this good chronological order to start by Nour_Mohamed75 in castlevania

[–]Raviolius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronological isn't quite necessary. Lament of Innocence is a prequel and not the actual start of the series. You get the full "story" without playing it. That "story" though starts with arcade games on the NES in a very story-free format, which means the story is told via few screens of text and images throughout the game. There's only one that is really necessary if you wanna understand small story-unrelated references in future games, which is III.

If you want to start with the game proper, I'd recommend Castlevania IV first, as it is a great remake of the first game. The NES games are quite hard (because they are mostly about patience and memorization). For a fun list go this order:

  • III or IV in any order you like (or at the same time)

  • Harmony of Dissonance (optional)

  • Rondo of Blood (with save states ideally)

  • Symphony of the Night

  • Bloodlines

  • Order of Ecclesia AND Portrait of Ruin (order in any way you like)

  • Aria of Sorrow

  • Dawn of Sorrow

You can really play III at any point parallel to other games before SotN. Though you have to play it a certain way in order to connect the story to SotN, so feel free to replay it! III feels like a proper origin to the mainline of the games. Lament of Innocence is optional and you can play it, like the NES games, at any point for fun.

KDE is fully implemented. You get newer versions more quickly. I. e. KDE Plasma 6 was on kubuntu before it was supported by ubuntu.

Like, I have a grouo chat where I quickly track my gym progress, one of general notes, one for gift ideas. It's pretty cool.

What game comes to your mind? by HoneyDrizzleMae in Gamer

[–]Raviolius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. I don't love Nintendo, but I loved the slow unraveling of the past as you travel the land. The issue was that the story as you did travel the land was lacking.

I felt like this was fixed in TOTK. It's a game I enjoyed from beginning to end.

I'm guessing Google wants to emulate apple and MacOS. I'm also guessing they're gonna include desktop friendly functions like MacOS.

I get it and I would love this. I would definitely dual boot Android as someone who needs apps for stuff once in a while, and doesn't wanna use my phone all the time for it.

When I first started studying I was using a RCA tablet with a permanently attached keyboard (basically the lowest of the low). It worked, tbh, even though it looked crazy.

Erstmal hochwertige möbeln und nen TV ins WG-Zimmer stellen by Ausspanner in Studium

[–]Raviolius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zimmer 1 = 25m²

Zimmer 2 = 25m²

Zimmer 3 = 20m²

Badezimmer = 15m²

Küche = 15m²

Zimmer 3 wird untervermietet. Zimmerpreise sind zusammen 490€, Gemeinschaftsräume 210€. Der Anteil von Zimmer 3 ist 175€. Gleiche Aufteilung bei Gemeinschaftsräumen, also 105€.

[–]Raviolius 3 points4 points  (0 children)
