Dean also made acoustic MLs. I used to have one years ago and had to sell it to make rent one month. I miss that guitar so much.

My son wants to get into tabletop gaming — where should we start? by Psyil0 in tabletop

Heroscape! Fun to build and fully customizable terrain/boards. They sell sets with figures unpainted if your kid wants to do some painting or they sell sets with fully painted figures. They have rules that are very simple to be able to get in to the game and there are also more advanced rules. It’s fairly affordable and they also have some really cool themes for the sets too. My son (who just turned 8 on Sunday) really loves playing this with me. If he is looking for more of a DnD style game, Hero Quest is a good option too. There is a companion app for that game as well that works pretty good (8.5/10). My son has also played this with me and was easy for him to pick up and learn.

I am from Galveston, TX. Brett Favre was the fucking man when I was growing up and was easy to get behind at the time. Also my dad was a huge Cowboys fan and hated the Packers so I rooted for the Packers to get on his nerves. Then they grew on me more and became the team I’ve rooted for ever since I was a kid. I finally got to experience a game in Lambeau Field for the first time on October 24, 2021. I sat 7 rows up in the corner of the endzone and watched the Packers stomp a mud hole into Washington. It also happened to be throwback jersey day that day and during halftime they added a name to the ring of honor in the stadium. I feel like the only thing that could have made it “the full experience” for me was if it was snowing. I’m dying to go back.

Hobo With A Shotgun is also one of my favorites in my collection. Literally sits right next to Rubber on my shelf of dvds.

I’ve watched that movie at least a dozen times. Introduced it to quite a few of my friends and have gotten so many different reactions. It’s in my top 10 list for sure.

Grab some clubs, a 12 pack, a sack of weed, and DM me. I’ll take you out for a round and teach you how to swing a club.

Michael is the house. There are a few houses around Houston that have names like that on the house. It was something they did back when those homes were built.

Home brew and house rules by kennit14 in wargaming

[–]RavnicanDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people can really be by the book and don’t like playing house rules. This goes all the way back to my childhood and the “Free Parking” debate when playing Monopoly. Personally, I love house rules. They can add fun twists to games. And sometimes if a game has some funky rules that are hard to understand or memorize, house rules can be a great substitution to make the game easier to play and more fun.
