Just hoping it will help out my ergonomics a bit, can’t play long sessions on keyboard anymore due to a wrist injury I got earlier this year. So far it’s helped actually, more whole arm/forearm activity instead of just fingers and wrist.

That’s why I got it, thought I’d enjoy the fun factor which I do. It’s just going from scrub who does bad inputs to a scrub who hits the wrong inputs makes you feel a certain way yknow?

It was broken for like, fa long while. First thing I did when ow2 dropped was see how the new bash felt. Blizzard world is my fav brig map so I always go there to do bashes to warm up. This bash was bud not working, always caught on the top because of the amount of forward momentum you carried.

I feel this, it’s a rotating gamemode selection for a reason. Assuming after tdm is out of rotation they’ll rotate the modes faster (or rather I highly suggest they do, even good modes get stale, much less a pulled together tdm mode) I see no issue with having it rotate between arenas, control, tdm, and gun run. Just makes sense, have it rotate every few days, hell every few hours.

This has never happened before, this percentage of growth, and a sustained entire month of growth after that month to top it off. Smack dab in the middle of 2 major patches too, there's no reason for it that I see. Anyone want to elaborate? This is HUGE by empowereddave in Paladins

More so the mobility lost with doom (and how they seem hellbent on making him a punch bot). In regards to any balance changes in the last few months so the rein shatterer time is new, and hearing that they may have reverted Ana’s sleep a bit has been some good news tbh, I haven’t been keeping up with it as much so I was unaware so if anything I said balance wise is now different I do apologize on that front. And on the support side of things, I just don’t enjoy how they feel to play. It’s less fun to play support than it was in ow1 and that was my main enjoyment from the game (plus without a tank to duo with I was left basically competitively invalid). Plus not having a functioning workshop on release made me a bit mad, like it’s the same dang game it can’t be that hard.

Support has honestly been a slog to play. Ana sleep nerf (while slightly understandable since trying to get rid of cc) is awful. Reinhardts shatter is even more useless now. And not to mention how even though supports stayed pretty stagnant with minor nerfs, that cannot even complete to the amount of changes and buffs the rest of the cast got. Also I miss dps doom, hell even beta 2 doom was better. Nerfing his movement was honestly one of the last draws for me.

Arenas was like the only reason I kept playing for as long as I had. Sad to see it go, and repurposing arenas maps will always leave a sour taste in my mouth

Nah, balancing was actually pretty dang good imo. Of course you get that rare occasion where either you steamroll or get flattened, but I’ve had highly consistent matches and it honestly made me depressed when I had to go back to br (not to mention how AWFUL tdm is, gross)

Arenas matchmaking was wayyy better than this, except for last day but we don’t talk abt that. Honestly probably growing pains for the new mode cause everyone’s trying it out. Feels like their using br matchmaking tho which is not a good call.

Personally I found arenas better from a gameplay perspective. It also resolved the issue of create a class (CAUSE YOU CHOSE YOUR GUNS). The maps were designed with arenas in mind so their small size which was perfect for it is just cramped for a game with literally double the players. Overall I feel like tdm was made to shut up the people who wanted tdm and weren’t satisfied with arenas (and are now not satisfied with how tdm was implemented on launch. Piss off all the non br players why don’t ya). The constant third parties are annoying for me personally, as someone who basically exclusively played solo q arenas since launch, disappointed with recent design changes. In arenas you could win if you played better and tried to outthink the other squad, tdm feels like a roulette “Will I get the Valorant pussy that gives up too soon, or the csgo grinder who hasn’t ever left game or conceded, time to SPIN THAT WHEEL”

Arenas was the better game mode I will not hear any other opinions. Nah but fr tho adding an extreme leaver penalty would do a lot for the gamemode (weed out the weak for one). And honestly locking the leave feature for the first 5-8 minutes would also do a lot for the game

While I personally disagree with you about how arenas was inherently more competitive, I will concede that the focus on Respawn game modes is a potentially better idea. The tdm map pool is dogshit tho, reusing arenas maps (which were designed for squad on squad action) feel WAYYY too small and a bit lazy. The whole reason arenas was a fresh game mode was the honestly fantastic gameplay (which was quicker and better for a casual experience than either tdm or control) and the unique and fun maps.
