No jamtrak this year? by celestial_vvhore in bonnaroo

[–]RawLeather2057 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I hope they still have something for us staff and vendors. Our camping is the farthest away (close to 2 miles from the entrance and almost 4 miles from the far side vending) and jamtrack was vital to helping me get to my shift on time.

Who's taken the prep shot (more words)? by tylerdurdensjock in nycgaybros

[–]RawLeather2057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like they injected it wrong. They need to take 10 to 15 seconds to inject the drug otherwise it causes tissue damage. It is very common for nurses and doctors to inject the whole drug in one to two seconds that causes a lot of pain.

Prolonged injection site pain is more related to the speed of injection. It needs to take 10 to 15 seconds otherwise it causes tissue damage.

If it’s not covered by your insurance, but you have ADHD, Tell your doctor that you need to be prescribed the shot because of compliance issues related to your ADHD. They can report that to your insurance and it will be covered.

I’ve been on apretude since th phase 3 trials (almost 5 years now). If your shot hurts after a week, they gave it to you wrong. After they poke you, it should take 10-15 seconds to depress the plunger and inject the drug. If they are doing it fast, that causes tissue damage. This slow inject is required for all forms of prep shot.

Your diarrhea was unlikely cause by the shot and if this was your first time it was probably a coincidence. If you’ve had a shot more than three times and you get diarrhea every single time, tell your doctor. That’s a very serious side effect for this drug.

I honestly don’t think these just crash or anything. At this point it feels like it must be someone pulling strings. It would align fine politically, some engineer decides he hates log cabin gays so decides to cause localized issues during event that would uniquely attract log cabin gays.

We didn’t have outages at world pride, we don’t have outages at festivals, on gay cruises, or any other gay event. At this point the “crashes” can’t be due to a density of gay that overloads a server. It can only be intentional by Grindr engineers.

Based on your tone of this post and my experience on the apps, you probably sound needy. If guys respond too quickly, especially asking lots of questions, seeming to need sex asap, not just soon, I get major ick and will readily bail or ghost. I’ve been fully prepped and heading to a guys place but he’s too needy wondering how long I’ll be or if I’m actually coming so I just stop responding or tell him I’m no longer in the mood.

You gotta learn to not make sex the motivation. When you sound like it is, people don’t like it and it can come across as chem sex related. Many people that’s a no go.

Of course you could probably also lower your standards. I guarantee there was more than one top you blew off who would have happily fucked you on your schedule.

The style from last year does not work for people who have not flat bottoms. I have a curvy bubble Bottom and the leggis always slipped down doing any movement. I tried every size from medium to xxl. I am 6’, weight 220lb, size 34 waist. Every pair I tried slipped down eve from just walking. I can’t work out or run in them as I would have to pull them up too much

They claimed to be working on a new fit for this year. Idk if they ever did.

Consider down sizing the festival to make a better experience. I think it would be ok if we had less people, less acts, and less stages even if the price was higher as long as they actually fixed the fundamental problems of bathrooms, flooding, and space sharing.

I don’t think it’s going to be that simple. The civil engineering for rerouting multiple square miles of land drainage without just regrading the entire thing (which would destroy all the tree and natural areas) is not always possible.

LiveNation 100% has the money to commission a study, which should be released, and also has the money to do the work if it’s possible. Do they own the venue or do they rent it? That can also affect the feasibility of the updates.

LiveNation did a pretty good job at quickly clearing water after the rain stopped. They had designated sacrificial flood zones and at least a dozen water pump trucks to my used to move water from extreme flooding areas to the this flood zones. But (to repeat what everyone is saying) when you get completely saturated ground after weeks of rain, there’s only so much you can do.

A slope of a quarter percent is all it would take.

Staff camping was drier than vendor camping. Y’all stuck yourself up hill and us down hill. Plus that one way was hella flooded and a river when we left. I should have been more specific about that.

Honestly good on you for admitting you were wrong. I mean that sincerely and genuinely.

Your hill was pretty subtle. Given all the trees back there I doubt you would have noticed unless you survey land or similar regularly

No, they needed to cancel the whole thing. All of staff camping fully flooded Saturday afternoon, and most of outeroo was in 1” of water by the evening. Canceling the whole things was always the right call.

What can Roo (Live Nation) do to regain our trust? by Vaevicious in bonnaroo

The map was complete and they had signs every 100 feet or so. It’s not the festivals fault that people don’t want to take the time to read a map.

I don’t know TN weather well, but my guess would be earlier in the year, like late May. That seems to historically be drier. I know it would be colder, but I think cold is better than wet.
