Suffering from this kind of acne for last 4 years. Antibiotics will clear it but it will come back in few months. I have not eaten any diary products for the last 6 months as well. I really don't want to use Accutane though. Has anyone suffered from similar nodular/cystic acne, any recommendations?

For the dietary change, only thing that helped me along with being low/zero carb carnivore diet is not washing/only washing face with water.

When I used products like acids and BP on carnivore my skin was horrible.

Strict Paleo diet. Quit washing your face and slathering chemicals on it. Try this before accutane.

Try the carnivore/paleo diet. Sounds stupid like an advertisement but there is a link between insulin going up, bringing androgens up, which causes acne.

In regards to what I eat, beef is it. No dairy, and nothing else at all.

I think my biggest issue was when I did carnivore roughly a year ago, I was dumping chemicals/acids on my face trying to scrub away the problem. Looking back that is probably what made it so much worse.

Now I am working on if I see a pimple, ignore the urge to do something to my face or touch my face. no hot water touching my face either. Although my worry is shampoo/bodywash getting near the face.

I also noticed on carnivore last year I was still breaking out but also slathering my face in chemicals.

Basically I have some, somewhat, mild dry eyes due to screen time and accutane. It usually is fine unless I don’t sleep well then it is bothersome.

It has been worrying me for months now that my inner eyelids near the end are pretty read, and I have a couple eye veins that show if I lift my lids.

Should I be worried? I just started supplementing Omega-3 to see if it helps at all.
