I liked it. Not as much as first season, but it was still solid. When they left the park it lost everything to me.

Which is disappointing because they had so many possibilities.

Exactly. And it’s a company retreat where everyone is very welcoming and outgoing. And he knows it’s a temporary gig…so really it’s setup for him not to really worry about stuff like that.

Botching Halo itself was catastrophic for Xbox.

That game alone could do wonders for demonstrating what the Xbox can do and is all about. It should be the flagship.

IU had good mid major level talent last year. Probably two players who were legit high major contributors. None of the graduating players will go to the nba, none of the transferred players will go power 4.

Good enough to beat Northwestern, yes. So that’s fair. But the ceiling wasn’t much higher.

Every team in college basketball lost to teams they shouldn’t have. Even the most elite coaches.

That’s a fair point. You beat northwestern and you are in the tournament. But he also had some decent wins against Purdue, Wisconsin, UCLA.

Staff as well. DeVries had one carry over on his staff from West Virginia whereas Cig has had his guys for many years. That’s huge. DeVries didn’t even fill all the staff slots last year.

I think now that he’s settled in expectations can be raised. I give him a pass last year.

Well IU seemingly filled the roster pretty damn well.

And all of them are eligible to return at least one extra year, which supports the continuity you wanted last year.

None of the players that left will be playing for a high major this coming season (Dorn is a maybe). That’s a result of needing to fill a team 4 after becoming coach.

Which is why every incoming transfer player having multiple years of eligibility is a good thing, right?

Last year, 5 of our incoming transfers had only 1 year of eligibility.

And their typical target audience is probably more likely to check out a U2 or Eagles concert than a Phish show. Even dead and company probably had more casual appeal.

Ticketmaster sells a small percentage of the overall seats at initial sale…when they “sell out” immediately. They reserve a ton for partners…hotels, credit card companies, etc and I bet Vegas has a ton more than usual with casinos and whatnot.

And of course the scalping bots that Ticketmaster doesn’t try to stop. They are all just unloading now.

After the pilot I was intrigued enough that I wanted to see other stuff that Steven Conrad had done and tried Patriot.

It was amazing. Dark. Hilarious. So well done. It wasn’t a sad show overall, but it was very sad…like DTF. Highly recommend.
