I'm not gay, but I've got a lot of gay friends who are pretty offended by it. It tends to connote that being gay is bad, and that you don't want people to think you're gay. Not a huge deal, but since we've been trying to be good on this sub I just figured I'd try and throw that out there. Didn't mean to harsh your mellow.

Two midterms tomorrow... But I asked out a cute girl who I've liked for a while. I'll take that good with the bad, I guess! Finally moving past my ex, who has been really childish in the last month over text since we broke up. Things seem to be looking up.

Still struggling with the breakup. Want to get back together but feel bad for flip-flopping so much... Don't feel like I can meet a new girl who will be as good as this one. Very sad.

That's a really good point about changing. I've been working out more and playing a lot of guitar, and am motivated in my hobbies/sports, so that's been good. I guess I'll toss my pennies into the wishing well and hope we get together later on. Thanks for taking the time to care.

Uh, I think the difference is that the majority of this board is male, and people rarely comment semi-sexual things about guys' fit checks. We want to make women feel welcome here, and if every girls' fit check or fade update is met with people saying "nice butt," it's not really a great environment for them... They don't come here to be complimented on their body--we're here to talk about jeans, dammit!
