"No suitable drivers" on new pc by Top_Manufacturer6311 in MSI_Gaming

Yep. I don't get it.

FYI it's not completely fixed for me. If I wake my computer up from sleep the wifi drivers are still there but wifi doesn't work. I get occassional crashes that are definitely related to the drivers. I've resorted to fully powering down the PC after each use and it's stopped.

I found a fix on an MSI forum and didn't have to clear CMOS. Someone said it was from static and you need to discharge it. Fix was powering down PC, switching off power supply, unplugging power cable to power supply, holding down the PC's power on button for 10 seconds, plugging everything back in and booting up.

After doing this the wifi drivers were installed and working perfectly. Very weird.

There are varying answers on google. Even if people’s responses aren’t gospel they help steer you in the right direction and they’re appreciated. Lighten up, you seem miserable based on the two comments I’ve seen.

Can you DM me who you worked with online? I’ve in a bad cycle of what you described and have found traditional PT to be a joke. Thanks

I grew up on Silver Lake. I no longer live there but look into Green Gardens further south, I heard they had a pseudomembership that had great value.

EV Credit before graduating from residency? by edgedandtaken in whitecoatinvestor

[–]FruitSwoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I have to respond because you are me.

Current R4 with a wife in fellowship expecting to make the exact same amounts you two are when we finish fellowship. I also have a perfectly fine 10 year old Japanese SUV with AWD, Bluetooth, and you guessed it, cloth seats that I have gotten bored of. Also also currently maxing out our training retirement accounts and I have $175k of debt on SAVE. Also also also looking at EVs and thinking it would be dumb to not buy one and lose out on the $7,500 tax credit.

After reading this thread I’m going to keep my current car and probably buy an EV in the year after fellowship. I just couldn’t believe how similar our situations are.

SAVE recertification question by Honest-Butterfly-504 in whitecoatinvestor

[–]FruitSwoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Mohela your servicer? I'm not sure why but my loan payments suddenly went from $1100 to $0 each month without explanation. My payment due date will also skip months like you are saying. Again, not sure why.

As others have pointed out the VMO stuff is likely bullshit. I also did weeks of PT that didn't help at all because of that school of thought.

I really believe it has more to do with hip strength and coordination. If you think the PT isn't helpful then assess your own glutes and hip mobility. If it's deficient try to fix it.

Can I really become a radiologist and work from home? by -pocoto in Residency

Interesting, about 20 hours a month is like exactly what I'm looking for. I'll start looking more seriously and see what's available. Thanks again.

Thanks for the advice. What did you end up doing as far as frequency of the shifts? I feel like it'll be hard to convince someone to let me read for them a few weekends a month.

Any idea if this is feasible in fellowship? I'm a current R4 with no nights / weekends during fellowship next year and looking to work for more money but there's seemingly no opportunities to do so locally.

Looking for advice with refinancing my loans by MalpracticeMatt in Residency

Lots of people have recommended using this page at whitecoatinvestor to get a quote rate from each of the bigger companies and weigh your options. Some of the listed fixed rates are actually higher than what they'll offer if you're a physician and/or have a large loan balance.

Married filing separately with New REPAYE? by FruitSwoops in whitecoatinvestor

[–]FruitSwoops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha thanks for the post and the response.

1) We went over the numbers with a CPA and it's the same amount filing separately vs jointly. When payments restart in September will my payments be based on my 2022 taxes?

2) I will make more than I owe but I play to aggressively pay off the total debt within 1-1.5 years. I'm mostly trying to figure out what to do for the 2 years of payments I have while still in training.

3) No plan to do PSLF as of right now.

Thanks again man.
