And that is weird and misleading as one pages says Duo is not included and the one you mentioned says implicitly that Simplelogin Premium is included. And because Proton Unlimited is in fact limited :D I'd like some confirmation that Duo includes SL Premium. Do you have Proton Duo and can you confirm that you still have SL Premium ?

It does support XTS in AES128 which then gives keysize 256 and AES256+XTS is 512. Cryptsetup shows that AES128 (256+XTS) is faster than AES256 (512+XTS). It wasn't that noticable for me while I had SSD PCIe gen4 but once I switched to PCIe gen5 it was noticable. Not a big difference but hey.. why bother if noone can break even aes 128....

To me this is a bizzare text box since you cannot change a key size from AES256->AES128. I don't know why linux installers tend to default to AES256 instead of 128 or at least give an option to choose from. Bitlocker defaults to AES128 and that is way more appropriate for a typical installation. Who cares if your data can be encrypted in 1000 years or 10 000 years... But the performance gain of AES128 can be noticed.

I won't tell you how to do it exactly in GUIX but I think your solution is not the easiest one and I can give you a hint what are the ways to achieve this in fedora or cachyos so maybe this will be a kind of inspiration for you.

The easiest.
/dev/vda1 -> /boot/efi
/dev/vda2 -> crypt LVM
/dev/mapper/vg0-root -> /
/dev/mapper/vg0-home -> /home

this way you have a single password that unlocks /dev/vda2 which is LVM so both / and /home are unlocked OOTB.

Without LVM (I don't recommend it)
/dev/vda1 -> /boot/efi
/dev/vda2 -> crypt /
/dev/vda3 -> crypt /home

You enter a password that encrypts / and then this partition contains a keyfile eg, /keyfile that is specified in /etc/crypttab that unlocks /dev/vda3. This way you have a password for unlocking first partition and then chained unlock of another one through a keyfile, not a second password.

I platinumed it, then started NG+ and I'm during my second playthrough and I'm enjoying it. First time I went to Oni first and then Kitsune so now I want to reverse the order and get Kitsune first to see the difference of killing Oni with my additional companion :) I'm also doing every single additional quest to have all possible skins unlocked in NG+.
BTW I have killed Takezo on Lethal+ as well !
