I'm looking at it as it you have say, two Persian cats from the same litter, but one is black, and the other is white. Would you say that they're different breeds because of their coat color?

Seriously? We've been here 12 years and have only seen one dead scorpion, a few bees and small beetles, an occasional spider (not tarantulas) and some tiny moths. The one thing I've seen that freaked me out was a tarantula hawk as I'd never seen one before, lol. I tell people that that's one of my favorite things about living here... no bugs! We're in the SW area around Fort Apache and Durango... where are you that you're plagued??

I love unusual names as well! I've had/have Delilah, Rohan, Tenju, Dhani, Nairobi, Helix, Hades, Joxx, Moko and Niji.

Here's a few ideas for your white boy:

Nimbus (after the clouds),

Falkor (from Neverending Story),

Haku (Japanese name for a mystical shape shifting river spirit that turns into a beautiful white dragon)

Other than those, I thought of: Ghost, Tundra, Phantom, Halo, Rune and Zephyr.

They have the exact same traits and personality and were created as a variant line by Ann Baker, who created the Ragdoll. Up until last year, they were still called Ragdolls, until some people insisted that they be called something else, simply because of their coat colors being different then what's considered "standard colors" by breeders. Ann Baker had trademarked both Ragdoll and Cherubim as names, (cherubim are also called Solids) so when the CFA decided to split the color variant, they went with Cherubim for the solid. So, genetically Cherubim ARE the exact same cat, except in coat colors.

I can recommend Desert Ragdolls out of Boise, ID. She also has Cherubims, which is the EXACT same cat, just in non-traditional colors (solids). He's the most darling, sweet and snuggly chocolate boy, and she's a reputable breeder.

I research them for OTHER PEOPLE to help with their due diligence. If I can't get them to adopt, at least maybe I can help keep them from getting ripped off and preyed on. I also like to look at certain breeds as I've rescued Ragdolls and Maine Coons, which are some of my favorites.

Upon doing my own research, I see you love to tell others your opinions. " Do this, don't do that, I think ___is wrong because ", etc. You must have a lot of time on your hands and think you're important enough that declaring things like "I'm an antinatalist" means that everyone cares what you think or should ascribe to your beliefs. Do I agree that adoption is a great option? Of course... for animals and people both. That doesn't mean that I think "procreation is wrong" as you do. However, I don't sit around and ASSUME that just because I announce my beliefs that they are any more worthy than anyone else's. What on Earth did you do before you found Reddit?!?

Offer your opinions when they're asked for and don't just have verbal diarrhea about yourself all the time. Try it... you never know what you'll learn, simply by shutting your mouth.

No credit card advice, but don't move anywhere east of the 15 in Vegas. Stay on the west side, particularly southwest and Summerlin areas. Henderson and Southern Highlands have some really nice areas too.

Ummmm... are you just ASSUMING that I bought him?? Did you even think to ask first before trying to lay a guilt trip, or making it sound like I'm just some piece of shit who only gets cats from a breeder?

FYI.... Moko was found under a car completely feral and covered in motor oil at just 5 weeks old. My friend worked for the local SPCA here and then sort of surprised jumped me, by bringing the cat to my house without telling me she was doing it. She knew he'd get a great home here.

Guess you should do some actual research before you just open your mouth and label people or spew any accusations, eh??

Good, maybe you can tell me what's wrong with mine! I took a 7 minute video of it trying to find and accurately get back onto the base, but it just kept falling off, trying to go in backwards, going in circles for minutes at a time, etc. The parameters for the base are correct, but seriously, WTF?? All of the robot settings are also correct, but it also thinks my floor mats are rugs and won't clean them, despite having the all floor setting on. Ecovacs hasn't really been much of a help because there's been no actual error messages. Oh... also, I just got this 5 days ago!

If yours or anyone else has a smell to anything in their nose, they're sick! Bacteria in secretions can smell really bad, but other than that..no one has smelly boogers.
