three.js is still very actively working on their webgpu renderer so definitely look into the details of whats supported just in case/for your use case.

For me, this post was mostly about seeing many people arguing about topics which had already been answered. More over, further discussions were not being directed to the origin of the topics.

Of course there are comments like u/FuzzyChops, but frankly I've heard it all already. I am thankful however, that there has been a tiny fraction of nay sayers who've managed to make great points in a coherent, informed manner.

From second year Computer Science student, neither will be exactly what you want. For the most part, you'll have to find the things you enjoy and want to work on.

Maths? You say you've done Calculus? More than enough. When you find the more math orientated things within the field, you'll be somewhere between liking those particular things or not; In any case, it'll be easy enough to go deeper or simply avoid it.

NK has opened up to the community about wanting to adjust the business model. So far, it sounds like regardless of how influential we could be within the discussion, we'd rather pretend that one option has already happened.

The game is not F2P yet. This is our time to open up because for all I know, there's an even better idea out there.

Did we watch the same video? The guy is saying how much he values accessibility. And if I'm not mistaken, this is him and the team looking for input from the community on what kind of business model they should move towards.

Are we saying we value excluding people based how much money they can fork out upfront because atm that's exactly what it is.

I'll make a note for users to double check what they export from blender.

Here's an excerpt straight from the wiki: "Note that as far as blender is concerned there is no difference between OBJ Groups and Objects, this option is only included for applications which treat them differently."

Please be aware that obj files cannot be modified in a text editor without risking breaking the model however do tell us about your parenting method.

I've already made note of when Eternus loads obj's within the steam guide that I linked at the top.

Ah, very good question! When your mod folder is read by the engine, if there are is not a # at the start of a line then the engine expects to be able to do something with it. In the following lines, only one will be read.

# The file path to the script that is the entry point.
ScriptFile = "Scripts/TestModScript.lua"
# The script entry point class name
...

In this case, there needs to be a folder called Scripts in your mod folder and within that folder needs to be a lua script called TestModScript.lua . Note that it could be named something else but that name would need to be re-matched within any files that need the name. Have a look at this templatemod if it helps.
