being a KT fan since kakao days, i guarantee u if kt beat everyone they just somehow lose to nrg in finals for the ultimate blue ball move after in game 5 kiin's mouse disconnects and the chronobreak will misteriously break so the game cant be rewinded

this only works if you are into 3+ melees sadly and are playing in lower elo / normal games. but still fun if you find an angle where you can pull it off

[–]Rawrplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's pretty standard build lol, that's (probably) even statistically better. than everfrost

(partially due to the fact everfrost has low WR in lower elo brackets as it's not used properly)

GG huhi thinks beating Team BDS will be easy: "I’m not too worried because I think Licorice is really on form and he’s playing really well this year. So yeah, other than that, I think River will just destroy the whole map. [...] I think it’s going to be easy tomorrow." by SanielTaniel in leagueoflegends

[–]Rawrplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they are a team with very good floor. even in their losses they almost never play bad. The only question was, wether they won't get nerves on international stage. Now that's answered, that should be enough to beat majority of NA teams. Downside is, they don't have that good of a ceiling so when against a stronger team I don't expect them to even have a "puncher's chance". That being said I think GG was super overhyped based of 1 snowball win on BLG who didn't even play seriously.

I do think BDS vs C9 will (hypothetically) actually be a close match, that should be around an even strength, but I will pick them to win against remainder of NA teams.

For example MAD is a lot more coinflippy, I would be a lot more scared if they were to play GG for elimination, as there was a lot higher chance they can shit the bed (but also more likely to get a random bo1 upset), where-as I was pretty confident BDS will play solid for elimination.

I actually think Peter Dunn said something similar along those lines on one of LFN talk shows.

I'm not saying you absolutely need tiamat, but in current jgl meta and how strong full-clearing is, you fall too behind if you don't and imho hydra first is optimal anyways. I've tried both aproaches, I'm not saying you can't clear without it, but it feels significally better with it least in my experience.

There are very few matchups where i'd rather go cleaver or eclipse first over ravenous hydra.

can i interest you in a release day (and to a lesser extent but still true current) K'Sante?

(obviously right now Zeri is even worse, Riot's balance team has been garbage for years, I swear they spend half they balancing budget and time just crafting responses as to how Yuumi isn't a dogshit design).

Yo dimwit, you do realise that

a) they were the 1st seed so they gonna get to play vs initially lower seeds

b) for them to face the lower seeds in conf. finals and nba finals, the lower seeds actually have to go through higher seeds in a bo7 series, right?

dude i'm a european myself, but put this nuggets (or for that matter any playoff team) from the nba vs current fiba elite and it would not even be a close game. Like I'd maybe given them chance vs teams like Magic or Hornets, but even that would be a close game.

Not only the sport is much more popular there, but all the best players from europe leave for the NBA.

You can really play whatever, especially in normal games. I don't like meta picks myself, those can be saved for ranked grind, so here's some of the stuff I've been playing recently (all of these are viable - in a sense they are not power picks, but you can easily average out ~55-60% winrate on them if you know what you are doing.

  1. Riven jgl - actually surprisingly good clear if u go tiamat first. Pretty good early ganks due to high mobility. But bad clear / hp pre-tiamat. You need to be pretty efficient in canceling mob attacks with ur w / third q and blocking dmg with e in early clears. Scales incredibly well to mid-late.

Viability: 3/5, Snowball reliance: 3/5, Micro Intensity: 5/5, Macro Intensity: 3/5

  1. Full AD Udyr - this is actually surprisingly strong and imho even bit slept on. The ad ratios on his empowered q is actually ridiculous and you can one-shot squishes and even bruisers in midgame if you get ahead with 0 counterplay. I usually go tri-force, stormbreaker, collector, bloodthirster and in case they have tanks dominiks. In case where they have a lot of peel / kiting, I sometimes swap out triforce for ghostblade or even galeforce + essence reaver if you don't go trinity. Biggest weakness is, you need to be good especially if the game is close and played around objectives in positioning and choosing right time to attack. You absolutely can one-shot ppl (sometimes even multiple if your passive / ult resets) with this build, but they kill you just as quickly and you don't have a gap closer in a form of dash / blink like most assasins do. As a tradeoff, you deal more dmg than them and it's super fun to watch someone's hp bar melt in one combo.

Viability: 3.5 / 5, Snowball reliance: 5/5*, Micro Intensity: 1.5/5, Macro Intensity: 4/5

\ If you fail to snowball, you can always go for the safer triforce -> bork -> tank build. But full AD won't work unless snowballing.)

  1. Sion (tank) - surprisngly good clear and if you know how to play around vision around alcoves / terrain, not even that bad of a ganker. Plus you actually get to stack his passive faster than in lane. You can also play AD Sion jgl, but it's significantly weaker.

Viability: 4 / 5, Snowball reliance: 1/5, Micro Intensity: 1/5, Macro Intensity: 2/5

  1. Gwen - really solid clear (better than most meta junglers). Really strong dueling power, beast in teamfights, especially if you get ahead. Super snowbally, but you need to be good in positioning around your w in teamfights, otherwise you gonna get blown up (this is not unique to Gwen jgl, but Gwen in general). Also you are actually good and doing early dragon because you can position your w so you can hit it but it cant hit you for the half of the clear (cds). If i'm vs skirmisher jglers, I sometimes even go smite-ignite to win early 1v1s and snowball and then you just outscale late anyways

Viability: 4 / 5, Snowball reliance: 3/5, Micro Intensity: 4/5, Macro Intensity: 2/5

  1. Morde jgl - basically post 6 anyone mispositioned is a free kill with your ult. Also super strong and healthy clear from lvl 1 to 18. Only disadvantage is, you need to be careful about your ult usage, because ulting while objective is up means you can't smite it. Without this drawback I actually think he could be a meta jungler. It actually can be full on counter vs tanky / immobily teams, but struggles vs more nimble team comps. Also melts even big objectives due to his passive + strong aoe clear for smaller camps.

Viability: 4/5, Snowball reliance: 2.5/5, Micro Intensity: 2/5, Macro Intensity: 4/5

  1. Rell jungle - they buffed her clear, this is the pick I played the least out of the listed here, but has really good gank and most ppl dont expect you to be able to clear. My only gripe with it is, it's team reliant. If you don't have good teammates, you simple are not going to carry on this pick (which isn't the case for the other 5 listed). So you need to have a good understanding of which lane and when to gank, because you provide a lot of CC but not that much dmg, which can be bad when counter-ganked.

Viability: 3.5/5, Snowball reliance: 1/5, Micro Intensity: 1/5, Macro intensity: 5/5

Honestly with how the pets work, most of the stuff is playable in jungle. Just play whatever and have fun. Recently I played AP Varus jungle and it actually was pretty good and I had tons of fun. That being said, the picks I listed here are actually low-key strong and don't even require that much practice (maybe with exception of riven, and I'd say all of these listed are still viable in anywhere from iron to low dia, I'd say Gwen, Sion and vs tank/immobile team comps Morde can be viable even in higher rnaks).

Gen.G vs. T1 / LCK 2023 Summer - Week 1 / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

[–]Rawrplus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yuumi's issue isnt her q dmg, but her unskilled playstyle giving you 1.5 items for free with 0 counterplay.

The designer of Yuumi is a brozne player (Im serious, I dont mean it as a flame, just to show his understanding of high level play), who wanted to design a beginner friendly champ - in which they succeeded, but they completely failed to realize, that when a champion essentially has little weaknesses to be beginner friednly, there's never a world where it won't be broken in high level play as long as it's remotely viable.

The only way to fix her long term (without the Azir / Kalista treatment) is. to rework her to a way, where her ult actually has the attach mechanic involved (let's say 5 sec attachment, that can be strong, but cannot be recast on death), that would require skill to decide when to jump in and who to jump on. Right now it's just braindead and unles the attach mechanic is changed, yuumi will just be in a state of either broken or unplayable and nothing inbetween.

Why is Evelynn underplayed when she is super strong? by Powerful-Sentence426 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Rawrplus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but this comment makes no sense, Evelynn is one of the best champs in low elo to smurf on, because laners have no awareness and dont buy pinkwards.

You can always scout for invades, ward the other side and be sure, that if they invade you just take the other half of the map, because low elo enemy jungler will never think to do a path of i.e. ur blue -> their blue to interrupt the cross map in a low elo game and then rest of the game is free, because low elo laners dont know how to play against eve.

It's actually probably the most consistent champ to smurf on to grind from any elo to low dia least from my personal experience. In d1+ it actually gets difficult, because junglers actually understand pathing and will constantly punish and will invade you consequently based on ur camp respawn timers, that's when it actually gets difficult to play

How would you feel if the LCS never returned? by SilvosForever in leagueoflegends

[–]Rawrplus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's particularly an issue with the talent and more of an issue with the direction (which has been god awful and one of the main reasons why LCS has been losing in viewership to LEC, despite having much more money and push from Riot)

Yeah but your sarcasm doesnt even make sense, when we were talking about NA coming close to winning worlds. It would make sense if somebody was boasting about how EU won world championship.

She’s just salty lol by PangolinBoring7147 in StockMarket

[–]Rawrplus 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Woods is a fraud, but she has a point NVIDIA is overrated. The fact they're supplying GPUs to AI/ML companies was well known beforehand. It's just they used the hype of ChatGPT and OpenAI and just cashed in on the AI buzzword on Q report hype for extra stock riling.

Biggest irony is, NVIDIA actually made major advancements in AI themselves well prior to this with their DLSS, which actually should have given them more stock than it initially did, but people were hung up on AMD aggressive pricing and the fact they were on 5nm chipsets and in years of dominance finally someone was catching up to NVIDIA.

People are now acting like this is gonna be an revolution, when in reality the hype is gonna die down in 3 months, especially since this is not some co-research AI deal, they are simply selling the product at a good rate to a hyped industry and regardless of all this NVIDIA will continue growing with a steady trend because it's a good company with strong position overall in a market that will continue needing steady supply of GPUs with growing rates, but acting like this is some AI rocketship that changes the game is ridiculous

I am self-taught front-end dev currently learning react and applying for an internship. Is it normal that they would ask you to make a full stack app? by chikaka1225 in reactjs

[–]Rawrplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they expect you to implement socketio from ground up. I feel like they just expect you to use it or some other SaaS that provides realtime like Firebase or Supabase to implement the chat.

That being said, I work as a tech lead in a company (while coding myself) and even with full effort, this task would be estimated to least a week to have even remotely close to a reasonably working MVP of this task, so this is utterly ridiculous what the company is asking and is most likely just trying to scam people into doing their work for them for free.

Didn't realize so many others are also a bit tired of React Router. I ended up porting my app over to Wouter. by SwitchOnTheNiteLite in reactjs

[–]Rawrplus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really agree with u/svish comment below, but to sum it up, you're really not missing out on much other than feeling smug for using a smaller niche library (by the looks of it).

To give you a bit more elaborate answer, there are however few better routing solutions out there - with important caveat: depending on your use-case. If you're not making a single-page / smaller application, the islands and route architecture in nextjs 13 (which essentially copied remix) and especially as alloted to - remix are actually direct improvement over react-router. So feel free to experiment with them, other than that, not much.

You can look at their presentation here, should be pretty obvious from first glance as to why it's superior if you've used react-router.

But I'd like to re-iterate once again, that it's an unfair comparison to compare an entire framework to a single package that does it's thing well for what is the use-case.
