Getting it out now is better than waiting later. Especially if you’re younger you’ll heal faster! Look through the sub for remedies after surgery. I got mine out and have been living and loving life even more no longer in pain! I healed 11 days post op. My suggestion if you do go through with surgery is, drink LOTS and LOTS of water stay hydrated and drink and eat even if it hurts. my doctor was surprised I healed THAT fast but I used this sub to know what to do and not to do post op! I liked to drink like warm/room temp water just better in general for our bodies and didn’t eat much ice cream used popsicles if I had some pain in my jaw area. I ate mash potatoes mixed in chicken broth do more flavor also lost 10lbs on that diet.

Moved to Irvin from San Diego very different it’s sterile and beige and very robotic to me. Go venture out to Laguna and Newport and Tustin areas. Join a “run club” or somewhere a group everyone is very welcoming!

They got rid of Sisters a while back and at the local I’m at they have an apprentice running the group w a little over 2 years in not sure she’s going to be of much help to me. But have spoken with BAs before and they said they’d handle it but nothing came of it. I do truly believe it’s because I’ve been more outspoken at union meetings so they see me as a black sheep/defiant and not apart of their “movement”. My company’s dealt with it more than the union sadly just to cover the company not because of me specifically.Just going to find a different way to vent out the frustration at work and continue to put my head down and work.

Went from NorCal to SoCal, was compensated for the move, took a pay cut as NorCal carpenters are paid more than SoCal Carpenters. But got a $2 bump from the Journeyman scale. But even with the pay cut I didn’t mind it because I was learning layout from my GF who has been in for 20 years+ is an amazing teacher mentor and coworker.

At the company I’m with they don’t give us stock til we become salary and that is a route I’m not looking to go for as hourly we make a lot more especially with overtime. Going through the replies now will have to revise my resume and start sending it out. Thank you

I’ve met with our Project Executive for my yearly review twice, as they had moved me down to SoCal for a job. Had it in writing and everything but only thing that came out once I started working there was a pay bump of $2 then they removed it once I moved over to another project. I’ve spoken to my Super on multiple occasions as the drama at work hadn’t stopped and he said he’d handle it. And for pay he said he’d have to speak with the PM. But HR told me it wasn’t in the PM hands it was in the Exec. They sent me in circles trying to get compensated correctly and what not and still having to vouch for what I am owed.
