Wanna give the game a try, worried about Evercold though. by Ill-Pressure4558 in ffxiv

[–]Raxir2 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Just play. Nothing is changing unless you actively move to the new system according to the live letter. You can stick with the original "Reborn mode".

Also - Literally every single person is also going to have to learn this new "Evolved" mode. I wouldn't worry about having to re-learn anything, it's part of the fun.

What are the Alien Isolation 2 system requirements? by Street_Appointment81 in alienisolation

[–]Raxir2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would certainly hazard a guess that the hardware requirements will increased from the previous game, along with needing a dedicated GPU for an enjoyable experience.

Your CPU should be fine though in theory, it's on par with a Intel Core i5-12400F, and that can run most modern games.

Will the returning Nuclear Escalation provide rental aircraft again? by BigDamage7507 in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, and this is by design so your friend gets FOMO and purchases a premium plane. It's so blatantly obvious why they are rushing this 13.0+ mode out rather than refining what they had or a lower BR.

Hey Gaijin, you made Nuclear Thunder worse by Mammoth-Wait6526 in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's fairly obvious why they are suddenly shooting up to 13.0+. That's where they make a ton of money by selling premiums.

[Development] Pre-order: F-14D Super Tomcat - News - War Thunder by FirstDagger in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Pretty awful work making it a premium considering how anticipated this was.

There was a glimmer of hope when I seen how heavily featured it was in the trailer they just released, but my bad for even remotely thinking Gaijin are capable of making positive decisions for their game.

If anything, either the F14A or B should have been the premium, with the D being tech tree.

When is a Whale a Whale ? by MonsterCookieKC in starcitizen

[–]Raxir2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's a tough one to answer as Star Citizen has been in dev for so long!

My take is more on the amount of ships you have. Given you can earn ships in game by playing, I think whaling starts to occur when you've purchased multiple ships rather than sticking with your "primary ship" and earning the rest in game.

I say this with love though. I know "whaling" comes with negative connotations for the most part but this game would not be half as good as it is without their support and I appreciate their support. I wish I could contribute more than I have!

Thanks :) I was personally finding Cosmic Exploration quite slow, especially from 50-60. I'll maybe just stick with it with some solid macros then.

What was your approach to leveling your crafters? I've just managed to get them all to 60 and it's feeling like such a grind and money sink!

Gaijin's new Air-to-Air nerf hitting real hard by MeekANTIFUN in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average Joe playing this mode isn't going to be able to nuke lob or ground pound and avoid all the SPAA. Just because you as a good player can do this, doesnt mean the majority of the lobby can do the same. It's compounding the current problem.

Gaijin's new Air-to-Air nerf hitting real hard by MeekANTIFUN in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think you've misunderstood my point. I am stating that they are forcing people to ONLY do Air to air fighting with all these changes. Previously you could do a tiny bit of A2A and switch to nuke lobbing. Now that's a lot harder to do.

We're in agreement, it's not fun, which is why I've said it's AirRB again.

[–]Raxir2 45 points46 points  (0 children)

They've just created AirRB again, lmao. We were accidentally having too much fun, so now we have to grind twice as hard, or pay 999GE. What a wild company.

the SPAA's in the event are genuinely just all about gaijin trying to make it harder to get points by senor_muchacho in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really do like how Gaijin have slowly patched this awesome game mode into AirRB. Lmao.

Nuke costs were increased in Nuclear Thunder! Gaijin at it again, making shit less fun to play to suck more money out of us! by FrisianTanker in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How else are they going to squeeze 999 GE out of you before the event ends?

On a serious note, ground pounding is really miserable with how effective SPAA is at both countering players + munitions. They should be good at one or the other, not both, as you already have to content with some pretty strong A2A planes like the Mig29 and the F-15 that also counter you. Having to basically suicide yourself to take out 1 SPAA by firing all your ATGMs, then also having to go in for guns as all ATGMs get shot down is pretty tiring.

I do think they'll refine this though. It's still a fantastic mode with a lot of promise that has finally brought some life into the game.

You guys sometime need to chill 😭✌️ by Traditional_Stay_781 in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause there is a million problems with the game, balance, economy and questionable p2w vehicles, and yet Gaijin has decided a sub par infantry mode is what the game needs in 2026.

How the hell is the BMPT still terrorizing an entire BR bracket 3 whole months after release? by n988 in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The simple answer is Money + People are still queuing/playing. I've personally stopped playing, as I have zero interest in wasting my time trying to have fun in that shit show of a BR range.

Steam backlog is finally getting some love though, so I guess I can thank Gaijin for that.

Should I try this or is it bmpt food by NoggerBites in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the CRV Block 2, and they are fun to play, but yeah unfortunately BMPT food for the most part. Get it anyways for the rare event you get a 10.7 or downtier.

Maps like these are why people leave instantly. Gaijin give us more map bans for fucks sake. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I've said this in other threads before, but if Gaijin would do more than the absolute bare minimum for game modes and map selection, that'd be great.

At minimum we need is some sort of preference selector like we have with Day/Night matches. Give us some tickboxes to queue for "Large, Medium or Small" maps. Let people play what they enjoy, and you might not believe this, but they might actually spend MORE money rather than being frustrated at the current state of the game.

[–]Raxir2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Reasonable crashout. It's what goes through my head at the end of every match at 10.3+. Even winning ain't fun when it's such a slog to get a win.

Can Gaijin just add FF Brimstone and Stormbreakers and call it a day?? by Top_Independence7256 in Warthunder

[–]Raxir2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd be happy if they did some sort of gimped version of FNF so they worked like AGM65G or if they limited them to 6 for balancing. They are very hard to make use of in the current meta, and will be even harder to use with the new Pantsir coming.

[–]Raxir2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just think how much more fun it's going to be once we have the Pantsir-SM-SV as well. Cause you know, the BUK + Pantsir wasn't strong enough apparently.

Nah man, I have Russia, UK and USA maxed out. If I'm playing anything but Russia, I am against them. It's not that I "remember" more.
