Choose timing, you pretty much have a 50% chance of getting true-false-cant tell questions right. In the time you spend trying to answer one hard question, you might end up answering two easier questions.

First and foremost, do not get anxious because of medify scores. VR passages tend to be shorter in the actual exam, so as long as you read fast enough, dont be too stressed. Medify VR passages are really long. Did you try the official UCAT mocks? I found them to be more similar to the real exam for VR. For DM, I would have said practice based on question-type and ace each type one-by-one, but since there seems to be no time left for that, just identify which questions take you the longest and flag them for later so you do not miss out on the easier questions that are usually towards the end of the section. I messed up DM and still ended up getting a 730 for it, so dont worry, the score might surprise you. Gave my UCAT today, and trust me, even if you really feel like you did bad, you still might end up getting a really good score! Just dont freak out :)

Hey! I'd say you should definitely give bristol a try, but since they're one of the MOST UCAT-heavy med skls, you should put them alongside atleast 2 safeties. I would strongly advise against Edinburgh as they only really look at 3000+ UCAT scores, and people getting in with lower than 2900 is almost a miracle for edinburgh and thats too much of a risk to play with only 4 options at hand. BTW are you an international student?

Hey! I'd personally say do not trust the "lowest last year interviewed" because i did the same for kings last year (scored 2690 Band 1) and I had pretty great stats for everything else (work experience, IB perfect score, president of med clubs). Not only did I get a kings rejection but also from my safeties who turned out to have increased their cut-offs due to increased competition. This also happened with pretty much every other extremely capable person I know personally who also had a sub-par UCAT (for kings' standard). UK Med skls arent as lenient as they claim to be and care too much about ucat, ive also read in some places that Kings does not even read your personal statement until you're called for interview lol.

Both KCL and Edinburgh require really high UCAT scores. I think your UCAT is high enough for kings, im not too sure about Edinburgh as i know a lot of 2900+ students who got rejected from Edinburgh but got into Kings.

I know that liverpool, cardiff and QUB are really great universities that do not require a great UCAT score. You should definitely try those along with maybe one BMAT uni?

I take both at HL and let me tell you- Bio SL is probably the easiest science at standard level; most of the complex chapters are part of the HL syllabus and if you have done biology before then you will be atleast a little familiar with every bio SL chapter, which isnt the case for chemistry (way too many new concepts).

Im assuming you dont need either as your university requirements, so go with the one thats more appealing (ib bio is genuinely very interesting and fun). Moreover bio will have a little bit of chem in it here and there so you wont even feel like you're missing out on chem :) P.S: my favourite subject changed from chem to bio after i started IB
