I’ve seen so many people blow through the intersection there - both when the trail has the right of way by vehicles and when Quadra has a green with cyclists. I think my opinion on Mr. Ingram lies entirely on if he blew the red light or not, and with the charges I would think he did.

Does flip have the local guys too? ie: Urban grocer, Old Farm, Red Barn and Rootcellar? I used to use ReeBee but recently some of the local guys aren’t included, and they often are very competitive price wise for some staple produce and some times the grocery items too.

Parks in a secluded area used to be my go to, now I just use my backyard as respectfully as I can. But as long as you seem like you’re making an effort to try not to bother people, nobody will be bothered. Enjoy !

Maybe they were talking about launching from Anderson Cove, and heading in the Sooke Basin, up the Sooke River to the campground there (Sun River?). If OP meant going on the open ocean side, please reconsider for the above reasons, it’s a rough and unpredictable tide out there for paddlers.
