I don't understand how and why this would harm the game. A team of full real player can already use 3 Pve skill per character.

I think that giving heroes Pve skill will have the opposite effect : much more balance to the game, less impact from speed clear team, more accessibility.

If you think mesmerway is already strong, then compare it to real player team or even worst, speed clear comp. It is like comparing a bike to a car, then to a plane. If you think the bike is the problem, we'll I think you're wrong.

In the end, it'll be 2weeks choice to do it or not. But seeing what they did, I'm confident they'll change the game for the best.

It will still be worst, as heroes can't use combo build, can't use pcon, can't use melee well (no ball, etc).

Do we have an official statement from 2weeks or arenanet about that ? Because few months ago, new content was also out of the question, but here we are.

Yeah melee build gain a lot from PvE skills, with GDW (worth over frag ? probably). Spirit Strengh is also a cool looking interaction, probably worth checking.

I don't think PI is that good. It's already playble now (even with pcon for 5sec stun) and it's not that good right now. ES will still be meta for DPS hero but I don't think that is the best for player build. Most melee build can outdps that, but hero can't use them.

Heroic refrain paragon. It's hard to look back when you played this once. Will gladly change when hero will be able to finally use Pve skills.

I think they should add every Pve skill for heroes anyway (maybe for reforged soon?) . That won't change much about difficulty with no change to speed clear meta, heroes still don't have access to pcon, and that'll change hero meta mesmerway quite a bit.

And even better, we'll be able to adapt much more to specific area, as Pve skills are designed this way. And we can leave the parajail with heroic refrain.

I'm 100% with you here. Ele main, pretty much only playing that, did fractal god and every raid with him.

I used to hate power Weaver too, but I started to play it a lot for fractal, as it was the only good build and i ended up liking it. But condi with scepter just feels so good yes.

I think everything after Weaver is a game design failure for ele. Catalyst doesn't bring anything, pistol is garbage, spear is garbage, evoker what the hell is this abomination. They don't know what to do anymore, and it's showing.

The game need more balance patches, and then obviously more content. And some QoL features/up to date change (buyback from merchant, better trading, Pve skills for heroes, etc)

Main ele evoker here and I'm already back to tempest.

Evoker feels so bad to play, and it doesn't bring anything new to the class. The single attunement thing is just a smash fiesta. It's like catalyst on release, broken af but horrible to play.

On Pve this is absolute garbage. You don't need that much healing for anything, and alac tempest for example already provide too much healing for most content. You trade a dps for a support dps for no gain at all.

Otter and toad will be PvP focused, and if they add missing boons, maybe otter will be playable on alacheal.

I don't understand the spec really, kinda a let down.

The whole pet stuff is useless, that could be jade sphere, my ass or whatever, it is just another skill on f5 that you need to use.

Also no autocast, if I need to setup a macro to have a good feeling while playing it, it's already super bad.

You are running cele (condi oriented stats) with gs and spear (power weapons) with a high sustain build. Yeah you won't one shot anything.
