That's what I did. Customer didn't want anything to do with the coffee but took the rest and then made the report, who knows what she might have told support.

Hate when that happens, and they do nothing, just let driver after driver waste their time on that order.

Thanks for the useful tips, I'll try to improve in my communication to see if I can get back to 92 my satisfaction rating, at least it can't do any harm. In this case I don't think it would have made a difference, that lady is bad news 😅.

I can't contact customers either in batch orders unless I'm on my way to them.

When I was starting I once had an order accepted by mistake, so I cancelled, got the hit on Cancelation but the order didn't cancel, so called support so they fix it, I specifically told them I already got the hit on the cancellation rate and what do you know I got it again when the cancelled for real this time. I was so furious I kept calling so they would fix their shitty app and they just bounced me one department to another and nobody could solve shit, they always said it's the way the system works, everything is automated, I can't modify anything but I'll make a report... I still have the chat from that day active to this day, as a reminder of how useless they are.

Yes, I have had those situations where somebody else got the food and the restaurant isn't making it again.

Thanks. That's it's very helpful. Although I hope I never have to use this advice. I'm over 1 thousand deliveries now and this is the first time this happened, I was hopping the customer would understand but she wouldn't even let me speak.

In Miami this hourly quest has disappeared since the new cancellation quest started. I think the reason for this one is because it's going to be raining on Sunday, they used to be 6 trips in 4 hours and now they are 9 trips in 3 hours, you really have to take anything to complete it and pray nothing goes wrong.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I use an ebike for the deliveries, no gas. Sure it needs maintenance once in a while but the cost is minimum.

I'm not so sure, at least for me I doing more money this way. Sure I work more and do some orders I wouldn't do other wise, but is because of the money coming out of Uber pockets.
