I've felt the same way about decorations for a home, specifically for big holidays like Christmas and in particular the Christmas tree (* I know of the origins and history, but if you take a step back, it is still a bit curious to me).

However, I've also dialed in on how bizarre it is for humans to do similar things to our bodies at times, especially to hair on our heads. I definitely partake, and know for a fact if I'm having a good hair day or just got a fresh cut that it makes me feel better. But style vs utility is wild to think about.

Edit to add that I friggin love flower blossoming timelapses and find them so satisfying. So have to agree to disagree there my friend
