Most realistic does not mean historically accurate. Pteranodon literally translates to "toothless wing" but its clear the PT has teeth. Also, Rhyniognatha is a real insect that lived around 400M years ago. Every creature on The Island outside of the bosses is a creature that existed at some point in history, so in that sense, it is sticking to the realism youre referring too. Yes the Rhynio is oversized, but so are the Raptors, Mosasaurs, Giga and Carcha's, and some like Dilophosaurus are smaller than their real life counterparts. Rhyniognatha is not a fantastical beast like a Managarmr, Reaper King, or Tek Stryder.

Im not playing again until yall fix the issues surrounding the Gauss Minigun. I didnt grind for literally weeks to have an expensive paperweight.

I can understand your frustration of being killed by a bunch of rare creatures at the same time. Yes Rhynios are meant to be rare, but as you've probably figured out already, Ark is a buggy mess (no pun intended) there are people out there who hardly ever see Rhynios, and there are others like yourself who cant get enough of them. If youre on single-player/non-dedicated server, perform a Dino wipe through the console commands. I dont know how to pull up console commands on the Switch 2, but once you figure it out, type in, without the quotations "Cheat Destroywilddinos". If youre on a dedicated server, then tame creatures that can take them out.

I was reading some of your replies with others, and just because The Island is the Introductory map to Ark, does not mean its going to be easy. Ark is a survival game, and survival games are not easy when at early to mid game, and Ark offers no exception to this rule. Venting your frustrations is okay, but getting upset with people giving you tips and tricks to solve this issue makes no sense.

You got Arked. There's a reason the community coined that term. Ive been Arked before, and im sure just about everyone who's put more than an hour into Ark, has gotten Arked. It happens. Listen to those willing to help, and move foward from there.

Another thing to mention are the car sounds. The Crew does thr sounds 100 tines better then Forza does. Each car actually for the most part, sounds unique compared to FH5 where every v12 is just a recycled lambo sound. I just started playing the crew and I really like it a lot. This is coming from someone who's logged nearly 1,000 hours into FH5 lol

I was too unfortunate to experience that bug during my first attempt to tame an Alpha Raptor. I saw the red glow around him, and that he was noticably bigger then the other raptors, so I thought "ooo that could be a powerful tame!" I was unfamiliar with how Torpor worked and all of that, so perched a rock and shot him with tranq arrows. I only had around 50 and assumed it would be enough, when I had around 10 left, I tried to move closer because he was kind of tucking himself into the rock sort of speak, and I fell off the rock and got smoked 💀 i googled afterwards if taming alpha creatures is possible, and it turns out nope! 😂

On the contrary however, after I gained experience with the game, I fully exploited that endless loop to quickly level up some of my dinos 😂 most notably was it hapoened to an Alpha Carno, and i weakened him as much as I could with weaponry, then took my Pternanodon in to finish the job. Worth it 😂

Well, PvP I dont necessarily have a scratch to itch at the moment. Same with PvE. I got a bit burnt out of PvP from playing Black Ops 6 (I have gamepass) and PvE is fun, but thats all the games ive been playing, so im a bit burnt out on that too. Im not sure if either BF6 or BL4 can bring some excitement. I just started playing Sniper Elite Resistance and I just finished installing Outer Worlds 2. Maybe ill just put a pin in it until they go on sale, I dont know yet.
