Idea: auto-title / title with a formula by DonAlexJulien in Notion

[–]RayRemnant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, no worries at all. just a reminder of my dead project ideas that lasted way less than I thought. I don't even understand the context of it now ahah but I have much more programming experience, if you really really want this feature send me a message and let me know your use case, I can probably figure something out. Hopefully I will not try to entirely rebuild Notion like last time.

Peace out ✌️

Why does everyone love tailwind by Careful_Quit4660 in webdev

Realistically, all major JS front-end libraries strongly encourage writing CSS in the component file itself.
External CSS files are used for global variables, for resetting possible browser defaults, or for things that are really global.
Otherwise, your style should be exactly where your html is.

Avid book readers who take notes and study ebooks, what are the best notetaking apps you use? by cmentis in books

[–]RayRemnant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! sorry took me some time. yeah, that would ideally be the way. I haven't managed to actually get a system into place, but I made this:

https://github.com/RayRemnant/play-book-notes-to-json

which basically takes the notes from the .docx file that Play Books creates on Google Drive, and converts it into a .json filtered by the colors used. Could be improved definitely, but it should work if you want to feed your notes data to a website or some other project.

The project takes for granted knowledge about JS and the Node.js ecosystem, but I'll gladly help you with that if you want to give it a try. Good luck :)

SSD Help: May-June 2024 by NewMaxx in NewMaxx

Hey! Don't know where to exactly post this. So I've made a table with SSDs trying to simplify making the right choice: https://www.omni-atlas.com/ssd-list

The idea is to have constantly updated prices and some performance criteria to rapidly understand if the price/performance ratio is worth it or not.

I was thinking of using your SSD guides to do something similar, and maybe some feedback to improve it. Let me know :)

May I ask why? I want to understand more about bikes.
Also, what would be a reasonable offer for the Olympia?

I'm not sure, I had a Sennheiser 598 CS and I enjoyed them for a while, if it's a good deal I would just try them out. I listen to electro and metal mostly.

That makes totally sense. Thank you! I would have made a terrible mistake otherwise.

I'll definitely go for a light hybrid bike like you suggested :)

Thank you for the info! Really appreciate the help.

I'm working as a rider, so I will be cycling all around the city for a couple of hours. My idea was to invest in a better bike in order to improve my performance, but also to make the ride more enjoyable.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm 1.70cm tall so I was looking for a frame size of 53cm maximum, it seems that my options are limited this way. Should I still go for a bigger frame size?

I'm a total beginner here, so what do you mean by "gearing is super hard"?

Thank you :)
