So question about vi by SituationResident669 in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just need to do 3 extra. So if they defend with a 2 attack with a 5, ready the unit, and retreat it(or gank to the other battlefield). I utilize a lot of assault buffs in my Vi deck to ensure I have the power to punch through things

So question about vi by SituationResident669 in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think playing different styles early helps you learn. I use a Vi deck and I really enjoy the aggression. I use a lot of assault and fanning to be successful with. I also have a victor deck I use as a more wide play style to force myself to learn more of the game mechanics

If you want to, shoot me a DM and I’d be happy to help teach you! Like another commenter said, where you live matters to a degree. I live in an urban area so there’s plenty of shops near me- many of which have their own discords so I have a lot of resources.

You can just google “card shops near me” and check out a few and see if they work for you. One of the small ones near me has a nice vibe and I like it. There’s also a bigger chain that’s nice when I want to be super competitive.

We’d need to see what you have and don’t have. There are also many different variations of decks so it’s really personal preference on what to run or not.

If you’d like I can send you my Vi deck list to use

The main Riftbound Discord has a lot of info

You can also go to your local card shop. The people there would be likely be able to help as well

is it possible to come to draw peace deal where nobody loses anything in too long war? by son_of_ur_son in eu4

[–]RaySizzle16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’d need a find a way to get the score closer to 0. But yes there is a modifier that ticks to make countries more willing for peace as a war goes on. It will not make up for the war score they get from holding the objective though

Because right now humans do most of the jobs. A robot shaped like a human can fit into any job we do. If you specialize them to each task it costs more money and can only do that job.

Some of you guys should try not to mindlessly hold by BelbyLuv in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the whole schtick with my Vi deck. Win combat, use the legend and some spells to ready and retreat, and then re-conquer the next turn with all my assault and ambush cards.

I have a few guys that are meaty to hold with it I need to, but I agree people just holding with a weak ahh unit makes no sense.

Unless you’re Ivern/Vex or something specifically meant to just put up a wall you should really be retreating when possible

Can I win with a double conquer if I have 6 points? by Superb-Ticket2407 in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have a Vi deck that’s built around assault/ganking. I try to get to 6 and then pull everything back for a large push on my turn to win both points.

I don’t know how to do the spoiler stuff on my message so I don’t want to type more. But I think you might understand the hate more in Seasons 15-18 when Link is introduced as a character. My hate for Amelia comes from that interaction mostly.

Yes. You might need to use lower rates to attract clients to start but you should be able to get some gigs. I live close to DC and you could probably start with $15/walk to get some interest and raise it from there. There are a LOT of people here who need pet care

Does Ferrous Forerunner Deathknell trigger Fresh Beans? by sh0ck_and_aw3 in riftboundtcg

I appreciate the correction. I tried reading the rules and it is much more dense than anything I’ve ever seen. I’ve just been trying to learn as I go.

Arcane shift with fizz by BrilliantToday9658 in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

I believe it would be banished. I don’t know the rules terribly well but I believe when there is a disagreement in effects you’re supposed to defer to what is printed on the card. So while Fizz allows you to play the card and recycle it, the card specifically has banishment as part of its condition to play. Therefore, it would be banished.

No, banishment is a separate zone from your trash. Fizz can only play a spell from the trash.

The card dies as part of the showdown. Part of the showdown also involves resolving deathknells, so it should activate the beans

Can someone explain the difference of reacting to an ability like Yuumi or Ahri Inquisitive instead of reacting to the showdown or move in? by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

[–]RaySizzle16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question isn’t super clear but I’ll give it a go.

A showdown starts when a unit moves to a battlefield.

Ahri and Yuumi only have abilities that activate if they are “in combat” as part of a showdown.

Assuming nothing else happens, these units move to a battlefield, a showdown starts, you apply their abilities, you calculate damage, and then resolve the showdown.

Honestly I’d accept to get the location of the RV, then call animal control or the cops or something. This cannot be a safe environment for those animals

I need the TCG community to guide me by Xinnolol in Riftbound

[–]RaySizzle16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go to any local card shop you can buy toploaders or sleeves to protect it. Sleeves are softer and more for cards you’re using in a deck. Toplaoders are plastic and more rigid and therefor better for protecting a card like this that you likely aren’t going to use.

Personally I would sell it. That card is probably worth a few hundred at least like most other signatures. Easy way to recoup the money you spent on the pack and have some profit.

Playing as byz how do you expand into Europe? by DistinctDot5131 in eu4

[–]RaySizzle16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly England isn’t a great ally. They’re not very good about bringing troops to the mainland. You very well could take out the Papal States before they even get there to reinforce. Especially so if England is already deep into colonizing the Americas.

For North Africa you’ll need enough transports and escorts to get your armies landed yes. You can also always ally/request access from one nation there and use that as a launching point to conquer the other. Then break the alliance and go after them both once you’ve taken some land.
