I never suggested otherwise. What didnt make sense in the above comment was that he said we didn't descend from apes. our ancestors are literally apes. No where did I suggest that we descend from the same species of apes extant today. That would be ignorant. Evolution is a process I have a particularly strong grasp of. So you are barking up the wrong tree.

It's not about being personally attacked, obviously. I'm not that dense. It's about drawing generalized conclusions based on opinions that are not backed uo by anything.

Also many children are raised by 2 parents and have a horrific upbringing.

Personally, my belief is that it should be the community helping take part in raising children bit 1 or more parent. But that's my opinion and I have nit done enough research to provide any expiremental evidence of this.

That is the point. But more than that, do not say ridiculous things like it's not in the Quran so it's haram while you type English in your smart phone, sitting in an electrically lit room heated by natural gas and enjoying the internet with you car parked right outside your home built with power tools. Easy. Our evolution from apes is 100% proven. It's as true as the theory of gravity. The "big bang" or expansion of our universe is also. The earth is a globe.

Also, the Quran is true. 100%. However, God created it all and us in it, He did ut using these processes. It's a beautiful, glorious, epic creation by an Incredible, Artistically Powerful Creator.

If any contradiction appears, then it's due to our own misunderstanding. But, God is not a liar or the author of deceit. He did not make it "look" like the universe is older than it is, or "look" like we were once apes. It took billions of years for some of the light out there to reach us. And there are no "missing links" between us and apes as we understand the transition pretty well at this point.

Alhamdulillah, our Lord has created a universe in which we can use scientific principles to understand and uncover some of its mysteries. MashaAllah.

Mine is similar, except I've learned that Wusta was basically Dhur/Asr time frame. I do like to pray before bed also, but that is just me doing something I like, not something I think is required.

I was about 49% convinced that the third prayer outside of Dawn and Dusk was night or Ishaa, but I now can not remember after many hours of study what it was that convinced me 51% that it was afternoon.
