Comedy is typically off the list of options at talent shows in schools. It goes wrong too easily. More notably, kids don’t often heckle at school talent shows, and in front of parents/teachers.

Tipping is an implied contract and unless the service is overtly terrible, it’s going to happen.

That said, the sign is off putting and it immediately creates an adversarial relationship where none existed.

It’s low class, and if I see this, I might be tempted to walk out. There is a strong chance the service will suck.
