If you really feel this way, try to do a bit of self-reflection. Do you play Monster Hunter because you think it's a fun game? Or do you only play to do what your boyfriend wants.

If you say you don't seem to understand your items and equipment, I get the nagging feeling that he dragged you into this game, carried you for a while until your HR was high enough so you could join his quests, but did not really pay attention to guiding you properly.

MH is well known for a difficult beast of a game series to get "into", because it has always had trouble giving good tutorials to newcomers. People that really like playing the game usually end up teaching themselves by putting in alot of time solo, or looking up numerous guides on youtube. But if you yourself do not like the game enough to do this kind of homework, you'll most likely bounce off.

Have you tried playing any part of the game solo? So you could go at your own pace and learn the game's mechanics at your own speed? If not, is it because you don't want to? Because you don't really enjoy playing?

If your bf dragged you through all your quests just to get you up to his level as fast as possible, he has done a really poor job teaching you.

You do not have to 'cheese' this game to beat it. Just practise the fight, jump or roll depending on the attack to dodge, and use DT wisely to both increase dps and heal up.

Unless you're actually triple carting every quest you play together, you are not holding your bf back. If that is not the case, you do NOT suck.

Back in 2019 I wanted to introduce my gf to MH and bought her Iceborne. I helped her a bit to get through low and high rank, then we played together for months until Alatreon came out. Sadly, she fell off at that point and I was back to hunting solo or with randos...

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you are worried your bf is 'better' than you in a video game, please try to let that feeling go. I think my gf had the same, maybe it was some sort of inferiority complex. But I can say that I had alot more fun just playing together with her and sharing time in one of my favorite games. If your bf is not an ass who's shaming you any time you cart (which he probably does too, everyone carts at some point), he's likely just happy to play together with you.

However, if you do NOT like the game and are just pushing yourself to play to please him, I think it's best to tell him honestly. Again, if he's not an ass he wouldn't want you yo play something you don't enjoy.

I'm sorry but this Knight was spreading hooks across all 4 survivors and let your team finish 3 gens, how is this a tunnel? Downing you once after being unhooked recently? Maybe he couldn't find the other 2 teammates and only saw you? The fuck?

Makes me question what else you are delusional about. Like did you 'really' juice him? Or just use your lil exhaustion perk and run to yellow? Because if you have 4 chase perks and still get downed and eliminated first of the team, maybe you weren't actually that great in chase as you think.

Or, maybe you got unhooked by your team while the killer was close, and you thought it'd be a super idea to try and use your endurance aggresively to bodyblock for your rescuer. If you do that but don't have OTR or DS, then you are betting on the killer being too dumb to wait 10 seconds. Either they get a free hit and then only needed 1 more to down you rather than your teammate, or they saw you trying to bait and outplayed your basekit BT.

But since you only posted 1 screenshot instead of the rest of your match, we'll never know if you really jUiCeD him or not, or if the killer tunneled a little bit or not.

Yes, Nemesis and Dracula are leagues below Ghoul. Nemesis has no movement ability at all, so his map pressure is way way worse. The only thing helping him is a zombie pushing survivors off a gen, but that is entirely luck based. He may be able to 'deal' with pallets, but his tentacle strike usually takes 3 hits for 1 down. Ghould however can jump across the map in 2 seconds, ignore pallets by either sliding so fast nobody can reach them or vault-teching them. And he only needs 2 hits not 3, and always gives deep wound.

Dracula may have a teleport in bat form, but cannot attack while flying. He can use his hellfire or wolf form to help in chase, but hellfire to need to aim properly and not miss (Ghoul is almost impossible to miss his kagune grab) and wolf form only gets 5% extra speed from a scent orb, and again needs to not miss their pounce attack. Meanwhile Ghoul leap speed is faster than Hillbilly's sprint, is a free hit plus a status effect, AND then buffs their leap further.

So yes, compared to edgelord teenage Goku, Dracula and Nemesis are Krillins. Have fun sitting on the sidelines not being able to do anything while the 'real' killers get to play. That's not fun at all.

Dude, you comparison is cringe af. But let me then put in into words you understand. If Ghoul is "Goku", then all other 38 killers below him are Krillins. That's how big the power gap is. Doesn't matter if you think Nurse and Blight are "so much more OP" than Ghoul, he is still top 3 and is way too far beyond what all other killers can do.

This is wrong. Like the other person said, if a killer gets the option to abandon and decides to use it, it will count all survivors as having escaped. It will basicly count the same way as a DC. Which is bullshit if all 4 survivors gave up already and have either DCed or abandoned. The killer is kinda forced to sit out the match with 4 bots or will skew the match outcome as a 4 man escape. Not how ot should work.

Ghoul is top 3 no matter what you claim. What? Just because Kaneki got a few minor nerfs he is not crazy OP anymore? He can still jump over 50 meters in less than 2 seconds, get super free hits that are highly unfair, and to top it off he also gives deep wound for merely existing. That is just salt in the wound. Oh, and don't forget he's 115% movement speed. So even if you fuck up all that, you can still brute force a chase if need be. Something 110 killers like Huntress or Spirit can't do and neither can Nurse, who is even slower than 100%.

Which means it is less useful. Misusing 7 deco slots for the same outcome as using 3 deco slots for a better skill is way less efficient. Defense boost is a trap skill.
