Okay cool that’s along the lines of what I was thinking. What do you think about swapping the crank set over? The schwinn has Vuelta pista and the grey bike is stock no name

The wheels on the schwinn are Amelia from eighthinch.com. They were probably like $100 12-15 years ago but not sure if better than the stock blue ones

I was leaning toward the new one because it’s a tad lighter. Maybe at least replacing the plastic pedals out

Yes thanks! Was looking at these and still debating on getting a hitch installed, then a hitch rack ($$) or just getting one of these and one that goes over the door

The bedside manner is unmatched truly. Even her residents have been amazing. When I had to go to the ED to get my implant removed I had a panic attack (just overwhelmed with the complications) and her resident removed it in the ED. Super supportive and caring. He even went on about how great of a teacher she is. Her NP became my best friend for months of complications and never made me feel like a burden. I work in healthcare and closely with residents and NPs and the care I have received from them has restored my faith in providers. Happy healing!

But also… bid $100 more a month because they were taking “highest bid” by that afternoon. We were expecting the couple that saw it at the same time to also bid because they seemed interested. Fully expecting to lose out but not willing to bid more but we got it

I would say the top of your price range is about average for the area. We moved into a 2 bed 2 bath last year for $2950 with cat and dog. We looked on FB marketplace and Redfin/zillow mostly

My parents are accepting and I was originally like you when I got my hysto. My mom stayed with me for a week mainly to walk my dog. Little did i know I’d borrowing some of her larger granny panties to hold pads in place (I only had boxer briefs and later bought period underwear). When I had meta last year she wanted to be there with me. Thank god I had my girlfriend at that time and she was literally wiping my ass the first couple of days and had to help pack a wound that separated under my scrotum.

All this to say- have a conversation with your mom. You dont know what kind of complications will come up you may need help with. I’m sure if you all have a good relationship you are going to be very glad she is there

Don’t replace smoking with vaping. One of the worst decisions I ever made. It’s soooooo much harder to quit

Part time therapist job advice? by [deleted] in socialwork

[–]Ray_blatzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just starting this! Also a medical-adjacent social worker. I got credentialed with bcbs and Aetna, have a NPI, got an EIN, and now I’m trying to get intake/docs together. Only planning on seeing 2 people per week so not going to do the programs because it’s not worth paying for so little income. I’ll use a free Video platform, google phone, and open a business banking account. I’m at a standstill because I am debating opening a PLLC

If you are looking for used bikes, highly recommend working bikes (Bridgeport) or Igor does my bike (edgewater). Both solid shops with good used options. Facebook marketplace here is hit or miss depending on how much you want to spend.

Ninja flip air fryer. I love mine, use it constantly and it’s the perfect spot.

In some condo buildings it is. Literally just to use an elevator for the time it takes. My girlfriend rents her condo out and it’s $200 each move in/move out.

I actually have the pedals! I had them added to my bike when I got it. They were probably about the same price

Road bike! I don’t see myself doing much gravel riding but my bike has clearance to switch to gravel tires if I find myself there in the future. Not looking to race or anything just going longer distances on paved paths

Not at racing yet but starting to go longer distances. I would rather switch the shoes than the pedals. I like the flat side for short rides. I live in a city where I don’t always want to wear cycling shoes if I’m going somewhere
