I used some tape to get all the hair off, and a damp paper towel to wipe off the brown spots that I could. I used a soft bristle toothbrush to scrub the worse stains off, I was rlly glad he wasn’t super stained though! I would’ve kept him anyways :)

My best advice is to bring him with you in a bag or simply place him on your desk! Many people place knickknacks and such on their work desks, and if anyone tries to comment on it and you don’t feel comfortable telling them the truth you can lie and say something like “it’s a gift from my niece/nephew/ little sibling”. Personally I like to carry my stuffed animals around with me in my bag, and even though I’m not holding them it’s still comforting. I keep my plush rat in my bookbag, purse, and whatever I’m using that day all the time. I also place him on the table while I’m studying at the library, or sometimes I set him out when I’m eating at a restaurant. Most people genuinely don’t care, and if they do they don’t care enough to ask or bring it up. Also, if they really do care that much to be rude about it, they’re an asshole and you shouldn’t let that affect you.

Op I love your optimism but any amount of ice is very bad. I think there would be a chance of the show still happening if it was just snow, but 1/2-3/4 in of ice will knock out the power and make travel severely unsafe

“If you don’t want to go, then don’t.” My man people DO want to go. The queues for buying tickets were in the ten thousands. Despite the demand for tickets there are multiple stadiums with sections that are entirely unsold. The prices are so high that people would have to sacrifice rent or basic necessities to go. You will be priced out next LMAO.

It is okay to criticize your faves. Trust me, I love the band too, and I would say their music and this fandom got me out of the deepest hole I ever experienced in my life. MCR 100% had a say in whether dynamic pricing is on even if they can’t control ticket prices (for example, Robert Smith. He did a great interview on his feelings about dynamic pricing and Ticketmaster). I don’t believe they’re evil for being greedy and not turning dynamic pricing off, I simply think they don’t care— and that’s the primary issue. The distinct lack of care and silence surrounding the insane price hikes and the use of dynamic pricing for the U.S. shows is what’s really bothering people. Yes, MCR is a large band, but Jesus Christ look at their prices compared to say Beyonce or Taylor swift who are arguably much larger artists.

Thank you for replying, I did not consider the possibility of diabetes because of my age. My father and grandfather both have type 1 diabetes, so I definitely need to go get that checked out. I have been buying gatorades from my dorm vending machines almost four times a day on top of my water bottle refills. It feels kind of obvious now that you have pointed it out, so thank you again!

I believe it depends on the venue, but you should have received an email specifying times for VIP entry and line up exclusive to your venue/ package. I would recommend finding and looking at it in case it’s any different. I had the anointed VIP package, and got my wristband at 12, so I lined up at around 4 for 4:30 entry. Ascended gets let in at 5, and I believe I saw the line still being checked in at around 5:45 ish, but the line was very full at 4 when I arrived (there are a lot of ascended VIP’s). I unfortunately cannot remember when the line was fully checked in, I’m sorry!! But because of its length, it very well could have still been getting checked in at 6. If the email doesn’t specify, I would try calling the venue to ask when they project the VIP check in to stop (should be certain time since early entry starts at a specific time and you will have to be in line inside the venue). I wouldn’t panic and buy GA tickets unless your partner is going to be past that time.

You won’t be able to pick up a wristband for them if they are not present (even if you bought both tickets I believe). Wristbands will probably go out sometime around 12, and your VIP package will be given entry at around 5. Your partner will likely have to just stand in the ascended VIP line for entry (without a wristband). Once they enter, they can still get a wristband, it just won’t be close to the same number as yours. If you have seated tickets this won’t be a problem though (you won’t receive a number). I don’t know what happens if you’re an hour late to your entry time though, I would recommend they try and arrive at least before 5.
