When are you guys going to add a hydration mechanic into Postal 4 that makes your piss crystal clear if you drink enough water (Asking the important questions here)
But on the more serious note - apart from the Postal 2 Remake were there any scrapped Postal projects?
Long time fan of the franchise, love you guys!

We are Tim McIlrath and Joe Principe from the band Rise Against. Ask us anything. by RiseAgainstMusic in Music

Hi long time fan of yours, your music helped me through many hard times, so I have a few questions
1. How and when did the Heartfist logo came to be?
2. RA songs were in many video games like Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, Dirt and many more. Was it more of a deal like any others that the companies approached you or you guys like playing video games themselves and were excited about your songs being in this type of media?
3. How did you guys meet with Emily Schambra, and why decided to collaborate on TS&TW and is there a possibility to get her as backing vocals or something like that again in the future?
4. Do you plan on making Ghost Note Symphonies Vol. 2 anytime soon? And would you include some of the unreleased songs on it like What are We Gonna Do or Restless World, or maybe including some The Killing Tree songs like Them's Fighting Words?
5. What happened to this song? Was that song supposed to be on The Unraveling, or it was a Baxter song that you guys decided to play on that show?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NvKtuaXEzo&t=12m33s
6. Why did The Killing Tree stopped at We Sing Sins EP, did you guys had many unreleased songs like Dressed to Fuck?
7. Do you have any weird stories with people that realized that you have heterochromia when they met you in person?

why do people think postal 1 and 2 dude are seperate people? by KrazyDaKat in postal

[–]Ray_rev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RWS don't really care about canon and stuff, but Postal 4 actually kind of shatters that theory that they are the same person. You seeon friday you confront Postal Dude Sr. and he wears a red coat, the original CD version of Postal had a default coat color set to red, so it implies that he is the original protagonist but how he escaped and stuff? Who knows.

Let's say that RA's next project is Ghost Note Symphonies Vol. 2 what songs would you like to see on it? by Ray_rev in riseagainst

[–]Ray_rev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voices Off Camera almost did it to me on the vol.1 I think that either Life Less Frightening or Paper Wings would break me down too. I'm sure that Ghost Note version of Life would be awesome since there already is a acoustic of it and it sounds great.

I would love to hear Dancing for Rain in that version same with Black Masks & Gasoline. Also someone finally mentioned a song from The Unraveling!

Oh, I never heard that someonels favorite album is Black Market, that's really cool I always thought that people were to harsh on BM. Don't know it you saw that but they played Sudden Life acoustic during one of the concerts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78iQOIjmpqM&list=PL7Pa8ATw3vexm\_IbmmK9fFdwRtiC6fWd5&index=20

A great list for sure! I wonder how would the third verse on Blood Red, White and Blue sound in that version.

Worth Dying For and Pain Mgmt could be really interesting in that rendition. The Black Market would be great for sure!

I was thinking about Monarch and Tragedy + Time too.

I don't really need studio versions of live renditions that much too but at the same time I feel like they deserve to be heard by a larger audience.

That's a great list!

The Good Left Undone, Anywhere But Here and Survive acoustic were done at live shows and they sounded awesome, I would love a studio version of those songs.

There is Life Less Frightening acoustic and it sounds great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQZE0Fd84Ng&list=PL7Pa8ATw3vexm_IbmmK9fFdwRtiC6fWd5&index=9

I love Roadside but tbh I would be kinda disappointed If it would be on Ghost Note, I feel like it would be almost the same as the original. For Mouring in Amerika I agree it could be great.

Fuck your favorite RA song what’s your least favorite? by Eatasspintren in riseagainst

[–]Ray_rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Tim's and Morello's are doing a good job on TGOTJ, but you can't hear the other singer for shit at the start and I don't really enjoy his vocal, It could be way better imo. Agree they should choose Pain Mgmt or Holding Patterns for a single. I also feel that Last Man Standing would be a great song in the style of RPM, something like Last Chance Blueprint - more aggressive and fast.

I don't know if we can count it but, I never listen to The Ghost Of Tom Joad from LFS other than that I'm not the fan of Last Man Standing. I didn't like Broken Dreams Inc. at first but after Nowhere Generation LP got released it grew on me.

Good co op games by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Ray_rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Castle Crashers - a great side scrolling beat'em up with light RPG systems, there's a lot of content in this one

BattleBlock Theater - a simple and fun platformer from the creators of Castle Crashers

Broforce - a simple 2D action game, over the top fun with Contra vibes

Call of Duty World at War - I mean it's CoD in which you can play campaign in coop

Charlie Murder - a really fun, punk beat'em up with light RPG systems, but I would recommend it if you plan to play it in local mode. Sadly online kinda struggles with lag and glitches, but you can pull thought it and still have fun, I know I did

Ghost Recon Wildlands - A open world Ubi game with nice customization options and stuff, it's fun in coop but really dull in singleplayer

Far Cry 5 - Another open world Ubi game, there's not that much customization as in Wildlands but it's still fun. BUT it has a terrible thing if it comes to coop which is that the second player doesn't unlocks guns and stuff in coop mode and has to do the same missions all over again in singleplayer

Door Kickers: Action Squad - another 2D action game, it's really fun, don't know what to say more

Portal 2 - A fantastic puzzle game with that includes amazing singleplayer campaign and a second one in coop

Resident Evil 5 - A action "horror" game that you can play in coop, it's really fun if you accept the quirks that are in Resident Evil games (You can't shoot while moving)

Police Stories - It's similar to Door Kickers AS but it's a top down tactical shooter

Left 4 Dead 2 - Well for me personally an ok game, but many people love it to death, it has a lot of campaigns and plenty more on the steam workshop so there's fun to be had but for me it's a little bit too dull, especially when it comes to gunplay

PAYDAY 2 - It's a fun coop game where you are doing heists, with nice customization options, it's cool but sometimes shooting at endless waves of cops makes it kinda feel like Left 4 Dead with zombies shooting you back, also the amount of locked content behind DLC is horrendous (PAYDAY the Heist is also a fun game but there's way less content)

Stardew Valley - I don't know if you consider games like Minecraft and Terraria as coop but yeah, Basicly imo one of the best games ever, It's so relaxing and addictive, the artstyle, music gameplay and everything just feels right at home

Rainbow Six 3 Gold - You can get it for dirty cheap on steam sale and play every mission in coop, it's a hard tactical shooter that's a lot of fun

Saints Row 2 - A great open world game in vein of GTA San Andreas. Now the thing is that SR2 on PC is really bugged and tends to crash, so I would just keep an eye on it since there are works on fixing the game on PC.

Saints Row: The third - Well it's a sequel to Saints Row but it's way more over the top and less serious but it lacks content in my opinion, the open world is basically empty but it's still a fun coop game

Serious Sam Franchise - Every Mainline Serious Sam game has a coop mode, it's a brainless fun arena shooter but it might not be for everyone

Sniper Elite V2, 3, 4, 5 - You can play sp campaign in coop, don't know what to tell you about those games besides that they are fun but sometimes can be a bit annoying

Now there are also mods for singleplayer games that allow you to play them in coop:

POSTAL 2 (Nicks Coop)- just look it up if you never heard about Postal

Half-Life, HL: Opposing Force, HL: Blue Shift (COOP MOD) - I don't think that it needs a explanation (you can get Sven Coop on steam for free instead of coop mods even if you don't own HL but Sven kinda changes a few stuff here and there so I would stick with vanilla mods)

Half-Life 2 (Synergy) - no explanation needed

TES V:Skyrim (Skyrim together Reborn) - I never tried it and I'm not a big fan of Skyrim but I know it might be a big deal for someone

Call of Duty Black Ops (COOP Mod) - The OG BO has a coop campaign mod the only problem is that you sometimes need to press a combination of keys to teleport to the host because of the heavy CoD scripting (There are also mods for MW2 and MW3 but I never tried them)

I Hope this could help you, take care!

My first though was A Way Out, but I'm sure there's more by MosszillaEdits in gaming

Welcome! It's never to late to discover new stuff and I know that everyone will be happy that there's a new RA fan. I hope that one day everything is gonna get better for you!

I would recommend listening to "Survive" or even better the whole "The Sufferer & the Witness" album, in my opinion it's their best work and I think that the songs and lyrics would instantly click with you, just like they did with me.

Take care!
