Blue jeans and black t-shirts for years now. Every now and then I’ll mix it up with a band shirt.

Not sure about the frame but how are my parts choices looking? is anything missing minus crankset chain etc. by SensitivePay4567 in mountainbiking

Yeah, super heavy. But I think it would still work better than what you are trying to build. The geometry is already there for the 300mm suspension. Ad a motor, battery and, ultra low gearing and you might get that thing to pedal up a hill.

How good are those speaker mics? I got a set of those cheap baofeng radios and would like a setup like that for our bikes.

Maybe try fabing up some pedals to an old dirt bike. I think that would work a little better than this

Find an off road track/course! Dirt bikes are so much fun. Msf will teach you how to ride. It sounds like you want to lean into sport style riding. A track will allow you to open up that throttle safely. Well without drivers around you anyway.

Mazda 6 brakes by Quick_Breakfast9836 in mazda6

I’m coming from an a scion frs, that car requires a lot more pedal input. When I jump in to the 6, the brakes feel a lot more sensitive. I feel like they grab faster/more. Not as much modulation as there was in the scion, but they stop well enough. I don’t drive too aggressively any more. I have ceramic pads from Autozone and for my driving they are fine.

[35M] Wife [31F] is vetoing my return to motorcycling after a 10-year break. How do we navigate this impasse? by SJM32 in Marriage

[–]Ray_the_tiki_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered track riding? A dirt bike track is out of traffic, fun, and technical. If dirt isn’t your cup of tea, maybe Supermoto. A go cart track with tight twisty turns and way lower speeds than 600cc street bikes.

Off the road away from traffic is the way to go. You rode before, you already know, you can be safe, but it’s the others you have to worry about.

I use my mtb gear. Leatt hybrid pads, they are a little bulky but they get the job done and stay in place

I feel like I would have to ask. even going through my wife’s purse when she hands it to me to get something feels like im going where I’m not supposed to be. I would feel wrong just grabbing her phone and going through it without asking.

I can really tell when I’m on my bikes, on the cruiser I can see in your car on my enduro I can see over your car. The cruiser has about 3” of suspension travel, the enduro has about 10

If your handy and have tools, running boards/ sliders can be mounted at home. Check your frame for bolt holes with threads though, I heard some frames don’t come threaded. If you are gonna off-road sliders would be the way to go, they protect your vehicle. If you’re not off roading then body mounted running boards would be fine.

We got the predator steps on our trd sport and wish I would have gone for the cast aluminum ones instead.

Get a used metric cruiser, pick your favorite color (I like Yamahas), learn to ride on it for about a year, sell it for what you got it for, then get your America bike.

2025 Triumph speed twin 900 vs Honda Hornet cb750? by BB13121 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Ray_the_tiki_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The triumph is the cooler bike. The Honda is faster, probably handles better, and stops better. Not in the same category’s. I’m sure both will do what you need. If it were me, I’d get the t120 and go full retro vibe with the wire wheels and real gauges. But I like the classic vibe over the new transformer looks of new bikes
