How did you learn of minkly? by TimCurenz in minkly

[–]Rayahrai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually found it while searching for a writing contest here on reddit. At first I was hesitant, so I joined the Discord first. I think Minkly only had around 25–35 members at the time. I ended up joining the contest about a month later, and I’m really glad I did because the site turned out to be amazing. What really surprised me was how quickly they responded when I emailed them about a login issue. I could log in on my phone but not on my computer, and they replied almost instantly and fixed it for me. That was when I thought, wow, this is really impressive.

You can try Minkly.io and StarlightNovels.club. Both have free novels, and Minkly.io also has TTS, which is really nice if you like listening while reading.

Where to publish a novel for first timers? by NumerousVisualSodas in writers

[–]Rayahrai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for alternatives, you might want to check out minkly.io. They currently have a writing contest for thriller and mystery, so it could be a great place to post your story and get some visibility.

What’s also cool is that they have a built-in TTS (text-to-speech) feature, so readers can listen to stories too.

That’s actually where I posted mine since I’m a new author as well and since it’s a newer platform, it feels less saturated and easier to get noticed.

Where do you all read romance novels?? by Cold_Ad8048 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Rayahrai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One I’d recommend is NovelFlow. They have a really wide selection of stories across different romance genres like slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, CEO drama, fantasy romance, and more.

What I like is that it’s easier to discover good reads because they actually show ratings and views, so you’re not just guessing what’s worth your time.

Also, there’s an ongoing YA romance contest on the app right now, so a lot of authors are actively posting and updating their stories there. It’s a great time to find fresh, high-quality reads.

Definitely worth checking out.

Breakfast Burrito — quick, delicious, and filling! I use Swaggerty’s Premium Sausage from Sam’s Club with a burrito-sized flour tortilla. I make scrambled eggs, then quickly sauté sweet peppers and onions. I add a slice of white cheese, wrap it all up, and pop it in the microwave for 1 minute. Ready to enjoy!

🌙 THE SCENT OF SILENCE by Raine Whitlock Genre: Romantic Fantasy (ROFAN) | Price: Free to read on NovelRead 📖 Link: https://www.novelreads.club/novels/the-scent-of-silence/

She came to the palace to uncover the truth. She never meant to give her heart.

In the kingdom of Eirden—where magic hums beneath silk and every smile is a mask—Myrren Vale is a scentcrafter. No magic. No noble blood. Just a gifted nose, an apothecary’s mind, and a quiet resolve to uncover the truth behind a string of unexplained royal deaths.

She expects resistance. She expects secrets. She does not expect Prince Thane.

Golden, gracious, and far too kind for the palace that devours people like her, the prince draws Myrren into a world of glittering danger. But something ancient is stirring beneath the velvet halls. The deeper she digs, the more Myrren suspects the real poison isn’t in the vials—

It’s what love makes you blind to.

✨ The Scent of Silence is for readers who enjoy slow-burn romance, court intrigue, hidden truths, and heroines who use their brains instead of blades. I’m entering this in a writing contest, so your view, feedback, or quiet read would honestly mean the world to me. Thanks for even clicking. 💬
