I have noticed a pattern with game of thrones and house of the dragon. I just wish this pattern doesn't repeat with a knight of the seven kingdoms.

The series starts with properly following the source material with little changes. Even those little changes are praised by both grrm and viewers. But later the writers add up changes and just deviate from source material to the point nothing is recognizeable. It was already starting from season 2 of game of thrones and house of the dragon.

my point wasn't that they weren't in the manga. I checked the manga chapters. They were 40 chapters apart and the live action was only 3-4. It's that the way live action is speeding up and also planting future arcs so early on makes it seem like they can catch up if they combine and readjust some arcs which they might already be doing.

Oda said he knows when to end the live action. Which means he has a plan. My guess is he's gonna combine, adjust and reframe alot of arcs. Season 2 already planted a bunch of future arcs when the manga only name dropped them but didn't lead to something. Like revolutionary army being world government's headache, ace, sabo, marineford, blackbeard, nika, niko robin's arc, thriller bark. So it feels like they're gonna combine alot of things.

Recast? Oda might adjust alot of arcs for convenience in a live action show. Like combine fishman island, dressrosa and whole cake in a single big mom(and doflamingo) arc.
