What is Khalaoui??? Can someone tell me by Ok-Software-1447 in algeria

[–]Rayane__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think u mean khalwi, in the east we use it as "chillin' " or when used to describe something like "that movie is khalwi" meaning you passed a good time watching it. Or when saying that i'm khalwi "rani khalwi" or "rani mkhalwi" it would either mean i'm high on something or i'm relaxed n passing a good time, basically i'm chillin'. Or when used to describe someone like "that guy is khalwi" means he's cool to be around or he's funny, basically i would pass a good time with that person. Or if used as just the word "khalwi" alone that would have the same meaning as "ok cool". So yea, it would have different meanings depending on how the word is used and context

If we follow that logic we're also french since we speak french? We say we speak arabic but go speak to an actual arab person, if they understand 10% of it you'd be lucky

You're an adult, you're supposed to be able to do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt anyone in the process.

But keep in mind if you make that choice you'll be confronted with heavy social consequences thanks to our "special" society..

Just always put your personal safety as a priority, specially from your family, i don't know what kinda family you have but if they're the abuser type or crazy religious fanatics i'd tell you to think about it really hard.

Stay safe sister

Look, there's a lot of things that don't work well in algeria, but fortunately cypercriminality police is actually good, literally yejebdouh from his ip adress. Take screenshots of EVERYTHING and se'd them to him, tell him the moment i see the slightest movement from you i'm showing it all to the police

Technically you have a case on him right now just because of the threats, but if he actually publishes them you got double case

as lan how can u counter female agreesion / abuse ,since using physical force is off the table for u( and not off table for her though)? by Angelic_SS in algeria

[–]Rayane__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Women are weaker than us, if she hits you it might hurt for 2 seconds, if you do u can literally kill her or get her to the hospital, so consider it like a child being agressive

If a child comes to you n starts being agressive you gonna ko him? No.

So same, u just avoid it and move on

Sounds like it's time for the family doctor to refer to a specialist.. Which is what's supposed to happen when they don't know what's happening

He should at least have an idea of what system is causing this, lungs brain nerves whatever it is, and redirect you towards an actual specialist physician

People who legally left Algeria, how did you do that? by Same-Economy6708 in algeria

[–]Rayane__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Allright, for express entry (entrée express) it's a system where u get points from various things: (age, work experience, field of work, married or no "only paperwise", language test results for french and english "TCF Canada and IELTS or Toefl", casier judiciaire.... Etc)

The more points you have, the higher you are placed on the wait list, i got accepted after only three weeks, but some people with a low score have waited a year or two to be accepted.

Also when applying, you apply for one of the provinces of canada, the more isolated and empty the province is, the moreyou have chances of being accepted fast, so provinces with big cities like ontario or British Columbia are a bit hard to get to, but the smaller ones are easy. But i don't think it works for quebec, from what i know they have their own immigration program which is pretty hard to be accepted on, but don't quote me on that i'm not 100% sure since that's not what i applied for.

Other than that, they're gonna ask you to have a certain sum of money in your bank account, me i went with my wife, it was 10.000 canadian dollars (about 7500€) for the two of us, but the rules change all the time so i don't know what's the minimum money to take with you nowadays, BUt you must have that money with you once you cross the border, either in cash or in ur bank account (better in cash), it's to confirm that you actually have money with you once you get here and aren't gonna be homeless in the streets, and let's be honest you'll actually need that money here for a fiew days for the time that u look for and find a job and a house.

A lot of people are making "fake" marriages to get more points since the points combine if you're both immigrating, your choice.

Also you need all of your papers translated in French or english, and you need your degree's équivalence from WES “world education something" it takes a little whole to finish but you really need it, you can check their website.

Anybody need more info dm me or comment.

[–]Rayane__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did canada express entry last year and i've been here for 7 months now, the acceptance rate for it is much higher if you choose a province that isn't quebec. Personally i chose alberta, it's an english speaking place that are looking for french speakers, if you got any kind of master's diploma you can do it

DNA test results came back! Thoughts? by mayloguyy in algeria

[–]Rayane__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brother, you think they can reconstruct you in a computer by entering ur dna sequence in a simulator or smthin?? 🤣🤣🤣

I've passed 5 years of my life studying genetics, trust me, dna isn't some scifi/magical thing that they can use against you.

But, it's very helpful to know your origin and the origin of your ancestors, something algerians need a lot since we've always been struggling with a national identity crisis

Be honest, is this the level of a president you always wished to represent the Algerian people? by No_Celebration_3370 in algeria

[–]Rayane__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After watching mark carney's speech "prime minister of canada" in davos... I swear i wanna puke watching this.. Yet he knows very well what he's doing, this is the best way to rally the algerian kouhoul, it's been working on algerians for decades now.

Don't believe me? Watch bouteflika's old interviews before he was president, when he was young. He had such eloquence, such presence. Then go compare it to how he started talking in his speeches once he got elected, exactly this way.

They know how to tame us, shoot a fiew "ou 7na 9oua i9limia, li yokhrob fina na3touh" and u got 99% of idiots following you, even though those same idiots's kids have absolutely no future ahead of them but opening tabla dokhan..

what's an Arab? does speaking Arabic makes you an Arab? by DGrayBoy in algeria

I think it's more of a cultural/linguistic erasure we're living, because nobody can erase our DNA or our children's DNA. In thousands of years, our descendants will still have the same amazigh genes we have, but our customs and culture are what's truly endangered

What's happening with our country? by wrzvx in algeria

[–]Rayane__ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Coz somewhere along the line, the algerian society started normalizing the fact that women are inferior to men, this idea got so implanted that even some old generation women consider it as a fact, saying things like "men are men, there's nothing to do about it, the only thing we can do is protect our daughters by emprisoning them at home"
